What Are We

What are we, beyond our skin, bones

Are we water, warmth, light, energy

How do we think, express emotion, share

Why do we learn, is our brain a sponge

What makes us different, unique, ideas

Our own creations, perception, view, vision

Where do dreams come from, our reflection in mirror

What are we, do we own a vibration, fly

We are who we believe we are, are we a Human

Whom created our identity, where are our attachments

Why have behaviours been labelled, feeling real

Are we an illusion, an experience, a trial, a test

Love, light and healing energies too you all

I Transform

I catch my tear, transformed into a feather

I take my worries, transformed into a Butterfly

I take my fears, transformed into Two wings

I take my insecurities, transformed into a prayer

I take my emotions, transformed into a flower

I take my darkness, transformed into a snowflake

I take my creativity, transformed into a Rainbow

I take my frown, transformed into a smile

I take my hurdles, transform them into ice

I take my storms, transform into the calm

I take my stillness, transform into my Peace

I take my everything, transform into just me

Allow The Change

With every breath change comes, an altered sense

Embrace the new with confidence, let fear go

Don’t hold yourself back, believe in yourself

One thing for sure, there is not another you

You own your own uniqueness, your own gifts

You are a piece within Humanity, a star in the sky

Your own light you hold, your path, yours too walk

You have your own story, History, future, past, present

Change within allows evolution, Growth, performance

You are part of each community, you are a mentor, example

Change brings excitement, a different, a something new

Let fear go, embrace your change, own you, continue growth

The Year Ending

Another year nearly over, what a year 2024 as been, it’s felt turbulent, waves with storms.

The Growth within this year tremendous, some life changing decisions I’ve made, really scary with just letting go, having Faith all will be okay.

So much heaviness has been carried, the boulder upon my shoulders, left to just open, pour out tears, emotions, feelings, confusion, pain, struggles.

I am grateful with how my year as been, I’m blessed and grateful, too be sharing this all with you, I have had moments when I just didn’t know which path to take, my light dim, my smile fading, my writing helped me understand my journey, life is precious whether I’m smiling or I’m struggling, with both I am still learning, understanding.

I look forward to 2025, I have no plans, no direction, I will just go with the flow, appreciate my moments in stillness, watch the rains fall upon the leaves, the sun rays hit the mountain tops, dance when the birds sing and swim in Oceans Blue, blessed with every blink of my eyes, each breath, each breeze that moves through my hair.

I Fly With My Light

As I sit here, allowing my mind to flow

I take a look into my Soul, admire, how I’ve grown

Challenges have taken place, my fears, stuck in the ground

I’ve lost my way, so confused, in dark, no one around

I’ve searched my Light, when found before, held it ever tight

My eyes not blink, focus became, never I lose sight

I’ve pulled myself from within the ground, my light as guided so

I look at me, I’ve grown some more, my light is brighter, glow

I’ve been here many times in life, hibernation, I do call

It gives me time to Strengthen Faith, believe in open door

My light is always with me, even in times of dark

For now I’ll fly, I’ll sing birds song, on tree branch with Larks

Merry Christmas

I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and take this time to thank you all for your continued support of my work, I have much appreciation of your time you take to read my work.

My work will continue throughout 2025, my words will continue to be sent with light.

A Christmas Poem for you all

What is Christmas, how would I describe, explain, understand

Is it the tree, pine in scent, lit up with lights and baubles that glisten

The food cooked in all its excellence, laughter around the table

The Christmas cards, handing upon the walls, overlapped upon a piece of thread

Chocolates in there plenty, Christmas carols on the radio, Christmas crackers pulled

What is Christmas, for some it remains lonely, no laughter, no food on their table

No Christmas card, no money to buy one, for oneself, no lights, just cold

Laughter not shared with another, no smell of Pine within their room

This Christmas Day, as you take a walk with loved Ones, share a smile with others

A gentle wave, the words Merry Christmas, can bring light to another’s life

Christmas meaning, bring light to others, today make a difference

Today feel blessed, help someone to smile, they not feel alone, bring Hope

Goodnight My Words Do Shout

The night is coming through, my eyes are tired so

I’m yawning, my cocoa, have last sip, my lashes falling low

Up the stairs, my bedroom light, my finger presses so

My bed, pulled back, inviting, into my bed, join slow

My pillow waits, my head does fall, my duvet round my neck

I settle snug, my book I grab, I read, I feel great

I yawn again, my book I lay, my Two hands in prayer

I thank my Father for my day, he hears, I know he's there

I thank him for my time, my Family I’ve spend day

The chats we’ve had, the times we’ve laughed, until late they stay

What a day, been lovely, my tiredness calling out

My lashes close, my Angels join, Goodnight my words do shout

Light Upon Humanity

If I let my Heart just beat, beat for all Humanity

I feel a movement with Peace, followed by overwhelming

My tears fall like the rivers, replica a dam bursting

Our World, Yes, there is light, darkness is also present

I climb, a height I need to observe, make sense of this feeling

As I wipe my tears, upon my tree branch, I see the light, I smile

I see the darkness, I cry, cry for our World, beauty been taken

I pray, pray for our World, ask for light to shine on the darkness

I sit in prayer, healing being sent with light from within, it shines

I watch as the darkness fades, I see in between the cracks, light emerging

My tears start to dry, my smile once more, the night stars shine bright

My prayers continue, the light shining on the dark, beauty returning

My Freedom

My freedom is in my light, my wings that fly

My stillness, connection with my Father

My perspective from great heights, the rays from the sun

The warmth upon my skin, the coldness from the snow

I’m alive, deep breath I take, smelling the fruits upon the trees

My freedom is my Faith, Belief, my Hope, Courage, Strength

My smile radiating, healing sent upon a White feather

My prayers, my words, my Trust in my Father In Heaven

My freedom is precious, too walk within the grasses barefoot

Roll down a hillside, lay against a haystack, pick Daisies

Place a flower behind my ear, eat my picnic by the stream

My freedom is everything, it’s precious, it’s mine

My Path Is Mine

I used to ask, the questions of Why’s in life, waiting for the answers, I would cry

I would call out through sobs, why is my answer not there for me, why do I wait

I would call on my Father, his Son, my Angels, send my prayers, send light

I just had to learn patience, time, appreciation, acceptance that my answer was sent

My faith brought me Hope, a gladness, a blessing, my answer near, touchable

My strength, found in my own empowerment, my own choices, independence

My journey in this life, my own walk, life, my own questions, answers

I have a path, made for me, my steps, my purpose, my unique, gift, light

Fly Into The Unknown

I take myself off, where to, I’m not sure

Have I given this much thought, No, why should I

I am independent, I have my wings, I am strong

Whom should I answer to, I empower myself

I wish to fly high, the wind brushing my face

I use all my strength in my wings, soar to great heights

I take in the world, my surroundings, the warmth, cold

I lay with the birds within their nests, observe life be born

I am free, no restrictions, no chains, no boulder on back

I fly light, resemblance of a feather, the air floats, ease

I continue flight, unsure of ending, where will I end up

I don’t question, I stay in the present, I just be, this moment

Angels With Me

I walk my steps, not alone, Angels with me

I run through muddy puddles, Angels with me

I climb trees, settle on a branch, Angels with me

I lay upon my back, gaze at the stars, Angels with me

I laugh, I frown, I cry, I worry, Angels with me

I pick a flowers from God’s land, Angels with me

I send healing and light, Angels with me

I share words, Poetry, a song, music, Angels with me

My Angels with me, Feathers they lay, many colours

Numbers they choose, guiding my path, light illuminating

If I’m sad, they play music, watch me as I dance, let go

If I worry, they hold, release, heal, place in my Fathers hand

I sit, just sit, my practice in stillness

My mind empty, my thoughts clear

This time, my choice, my Growth

My dedication with connection, my prayers

This time, my time, I embrace my visions

My dreams acknowledged, my light bright

I connect with my soul, I hear my inner child

This time, my time, it’s precious, brings comfort

I may choose Five minutes, Five hours, Five days

I feel blessed, God gave me words, create he says

Use your imagination, you’re visions, your dreams

Share what comes alive, smiles, Hope will bring

Share your light, your healing, your strength

Your words create magic, a peace, inspiration

Use your words throughout the world, Humanity

Bring the seasons, nature, the Oceans, the light, the stars

Create music, a story, poem, a piece of Art, a landscape

Your words are there for others, read with their coffee

Bring colour, excitement, intrigue, fascination, focus

A masterpiece, new, fresh, unique, entertaining

My words I share, continue so, a new everyday

I Follow Angels Music

I hear music, so beautiful, so inviting, I follow

I skip through the trees, so happy, content

I join the waterfall, waters wash over me, refreshing

I rest by the riverbank, my fingers trail, sun rays warm

The music continues, so sweet, my Heart warm

I dance barefooted upon the sands, my soles tickled

The White waves caress my ankles, hammock calling

I rock side to side, the music soothing me, I join again

I follow the music, the mountainside I climb, on top I settle

I observe, I listen, the music in sync with the passing breeze

I step onto a White cloud, moving gently with the music

Many more clouds appear, the music I meet, my Angels smile

Winters Story

My words are swimming around, nudging for attention

They want me to choose, pick them, invent something

They are waiting, I can spot their excitement, dance away

Each One, a start, a middle, an End, a masterpiece, an Art

I will take just a few, move them around, find order, place in a line

The others, still nudging, no patience, I giggle, laugh out loud

Coming together nicely, let’s see, what’s written, created

Let’s begin, here goes, On a cold Winters Eve, the snow falling

My Wellington boots, the ice on ground they meet

Where have all the Greys gone, the cold transformed the streets

The trees no longer colour Green, leaves, the snowflakes lay

If you want to know the ending, more words will come your way

My Angels I Thank You

I’m sitting, the fire warm, the night skies dark

Warm hot chocolate, marshmallows and cream

Pinks and Whites bobbing about, chocolate moustache

My checked blanket, my socks bring warmth

I’m blessed, in this moment, within this breath

As my curls sit upon my shoulders, my armchair comfort

I speak with my Angels, I thank them for everything

The Feathers they leave, their numbers which catch my eye

Their guidance on my path, in their words I trust

I take my last sip, delicious, my blanket, my shoulders lay

I just sit, watching as the fire brings warmth, colours bright

My Angels, with their sparkles of colours, my room now filled

Together We Are Strong

I speak with One my Father, I Ask his hands are free

The One that waits in Heaven, In prayers he sits by thee

I ask as I am crying, please soothe my tears so

He places hands, upon my Heart his love inside I know

He asks, my child, why tears do fall, Why, your heavy Heart

I tell I’m confused in life, my path I’ve drifted far

He smiles at me, don’t worry child. I’ve walked your steps with you

Don’t worry I not fail you so, your steps right now, you grow

Short term they are, things too learn, not long till you see through

I’m sorry, many challenges, your life, been tough, storms blew

The calm is near, the silence come, all be understood

Not giving up, your Faith in me, I’ve watched you from above

I’ve caught your tears, I’ve held you up, when fall, I’ve laid with you

I’ve held you in my arms sweet child, I’ve rocked you all night through

I’ve never left, I never will, I believe in you, as you do me

Together we are together strong, Faith in each are we

Cry A Tear

What is a tear, do you feel it, what emotion comes

Does your tear feel strong, is it from sadness, happiness

Does it hurt, feel pain, does it feel calm, pleasant

Does it fall fast, does it roll gently, does it hurt, feel nice

Does it feel warm, comforting, does it sting, sharp

Do you want to hold on, let go, dismiss, ignore

What emotion is attached, why do you cry, do you smile

A tear is so small, it can feel like a river, an ocean, a wave

A tear is such a description, a feeling, a thought

Why does it come with such impact, a memory

Why does a tear fall, shouting out, waiting to be acknowledged

A tear, so precious, so many answers, direction, with change

My Angels Bring Music

I call out, my Angels please be with me

I ask your feathers comfort me, calm my tears

My Heart aches, I cry, my tears fall, please catch them

Make me smile again, cradle me, rock me, bring peace

Sing those lullaby’s I know, play that tune upon your harp

Silence my mind, stop that ache in my chest, my tears fall

I feel warmth, rolling down my cheeks, I am cradled in your wings

My tears slowing, my breathing light, you hear me, send your light

I stop, I dance, I move, your music plays, I smile again

Your feathers I wear in my hair, I Feel comfort, calm

I catch my tears, I search, my emotions clear, I pray

My Light Brings Others

I am centred within Humanity, I’m alone, silent, prepared

My connection with my Father remains, his light I welcome

Vibrant sparks, currents, energy, vibrations, Wisdom, Knowledge

I understand, I lead, I shine bright, my Fathers light, centre illuminated

I observe, lights appear, Miles upon miles, vast, appearance brighter

Humanity joining, a community creating, lights brighter, more appear

Over the mountains, through the Oceans, from within the trees more light

Each hand, joined another, each light brighter as the next, each an energy

No difference, all the same, joined by light, all together, a oneness

All centred within Humanity, all calling, reaching out, guiding others

Community growing, laughter shared, dancing, singing, swaying

Light exploding, seen throughout, an invitation to others, calling out

My Answers In The Present

At this time, my life, in transition, change

Unknown, no clue, no answer, no fast forward

I have to trust, not control, just grow, learn

It is fearful, I feel alone, is this the correct path

What does my internal dialogue speak, support

My inner also confusion present, Why, what

How can I make sense, become, achieve, centre

Again I am searching, looking, an answer I seek

This change, no difficulty should be present

If I am searching, am I not content, Happy

If I am searching for Trust and Hope, is it not there

If I am trying to control, Why and what is this for

I may have found the answer, the words before show

No present is around, I am looking at the past, comfortable

I am trying to fast forward the future, trying to control

The present, I will grow, Learn, transition, change

My Church I Visit

I take a walk, not long, just simple, inviting

I listen as the sweet birds sing for me, on branches sit

My breath catching the aromas, the sweet scents, my nose invites

My fingers, ever so delicately, pick the ripe Blackberries, so sweet

My steps, sinking into the mud, not taken, my wellies protect

The crisp air, my lashes harden, my lips, slight chapped, Red

I hear, the church bells, I spot the distance, I walk towards

Over fields, crunch under each step, the fine layer from Frost

I stop, before grand Church, I enter, my gloves removed

A seat I take, my head I lower, giving thanks for this time

My Two hands in prayer, in silence, my Father present

I leave, my journey back, the Frost still evident, the birds still sing

The Silence Brings Colours

Today, my head aches from flu, my mind nothing

I sit, just sit, observing the circles under my eyes

My pale complexion, congestion causing pain

My temperature warm, tea, hot I sip, soothe my throat

I look at my blank screen, shouting at me too create

Bring colour, words, imagination, thought, a story

My mind still silent, where can this energy I find

Then pop, then another, a vision, a creation, inventive

The colours so bright, playful, full of fun, alive

Clouds float around me, the Rainbows emerge within the skies

The skies different shades of Blue, the sun rays illuminating the seas

Each flower standing tall, dancing within the blades of Green
