My Prayers Brought Strength Poem

I never knew my strength within, my courage took first place
I had to become tower, my shoulders had to brace
Life it threw so many things, arriving all at once
Many others needed me, I had to stand so strong

My shoulders had to carry them, my fingertips dried eyes
My words I shared of comfort, had to help them on
I had no time to comfort me, others, first they were
But in the night of darkness, God I shared my words

Please I’d say, please help us so, this time is very hard
I need much strength to carry them, show where they belong
I’m feeling weak, drained from it all, but others, they need me
God I need your strength right now, so others do believe

Peace then comes, my prayer answered, I know I’m not alone
God will help us make it, transform our pain to strong
Up another day I go, encouraging words I give
Confident that all our troubles, God will help us with

My Cocoon Hangs From A Branch Poem

I’ve been inside my own cocoon, encased with cloth of White
I’ve hung from high, attached to branch, at first I wondered why
All alone, no noise be heard, silence only friend
I stayed like this for years, no beginning, no end

My mind it had the time to think, observing my life, still
My heart it was a healing, the tears flowed, not stop till
I captured moments when all was numb, I closed my eyes to rest
Hibernating till ready, to look at life the rest

My cocoon was beautiful, the longer I was there
I understood the work on me, healing self with care
I wouldn’t leave until ready, I had to let things go
Otherwise my life still lived, ego there on show

It’s been much years, since silent time, in my cloth of White
Yes, it’s hard, life I mean, trials still pass me by
The only thing I’ve learnt from this, is how I deal with trial
I take a higher perspective, hang from branch a while

Make Your Dreams Real Poem

Never give up on your dreams, a purpose they do serve
Your talents not be hidden, share them with the world
Maybe seem a long way off, but tiny steps do take
There your dreams will meet you, a life of light you make

You will recognise your dreams, they always choose to show
They consume your thoughts throughout your life, your soul, it does know
They pop and pop and never stop, it’s like a little nudge
To chase your dreams, not to give up, your dream from up above

Choose to take, this is your choice, your dreams will never leave
Different paths you may take, your heart sighs out a heave
Each our dreams are different, that’s why we say unique
Mine I’ll try forever, writing is my thing

I hope one day you have your dream, it’s yours to always take
Envisage now your future, if you choose small steps
How would your dream mould in your life, how content you’ll feel
Your dreams will never leave you, so go ahead, make real

We are all children of our God, he never leaves our side
He always walks beside us, true paths we’ll always find
He steers our lives, just where we’ll be, he never lets us fall
He lifts us up so gently, if we should so fall

God places people on our path, the ones that learn us most
The ones that will be teachers, spoken true, Gods knows
He’ll take us places never seen, coincidence on the way
What is always meant for us , God will keep them stay

God knows what is right for us, what will bring us tears
He knows what brings a smile to us, what will last much years
He knows if we do need to grow, how we will excel
He’ll send to us just what we need, make our lives so swell

Next time you do question life, answers can’t be found
Ask yourself this question, external not be found
Internally within your soul, the answer always lays
God his arms are open, around he always stays

God From Up Above Poem

As a child, I never knew, the chats I so did have
No one there to see with eyes, this never held me back
I’d chat alone within my mind, my giggles heard out loud
I’d skip along with happiness, peace I always found

I took you everywhere with me, I even held your hand
I read your life in bible, my hands wrapped cross around
I’d kneel beside you every night, as my hands prayed so
You’d catch my prayers as I would speak, take them to your home

I’d feel your touch upon my face, catch my tears if fall
I’d feel you stroke my face at night, to help me sleep, deep more
I’d catch the whispers in my ear, the lights you sent, I’d watch
Your Angels that you sent to me, I want to thank a lot

God, I want to thank you, for being from first breath
You’ve shared my every second, you are my precious friend
Not only do you guide my life, your take care of those I love
I thank you from my beating heart, God from up above

In My Faith I Trust Poem

I remember when I heard your words, this moment not your time
I know you have hung onto hope, your path is not aligned
The time is not for your own good, there’s better on the way
Be patient just bit longer, I’ll send your dreams your way

I question why, oh why, oh why, my door it remained shut
I pushed and pushed, not open, I’ve struggled oh so much
I thought if I pushed hard enough, all my dreams evolve
Sadness it did reign through me, darkness did take hold

God you see, so kept it stuck, only for my good
I do not know yet reason why, one day,  be understood
I know when comes, a sigh relief, I’ll be glad he kept it shut
For today I trust in him, in my faith I put

I see life as many things, some things good, some bad

I’ve seen so many concrete walls, doors open as well

I’ve jumped a many hurdle, scrapes upon my knees

But every time I have fell down, my strength has saved me

I’ve seen a many smile, I’ve cried a many tear

I’ve walked within the light of God, darkness found so near

I’ve felt at peace, so content, my world turned upside down

But every time, life has been hard, God alone been found

I’ve lost a few, my broken heart, wonder how I’ll heal

The pain to much, my heart it aches, my tears so wet so real

I spot a robin on a branch, my smile it starts to form

I know you’ll never leave me, your present in my world 

Life you see not easy, there’s struggles on the way

But alone you must not feel, God around he stays

Next time you are faced with all, don’t struggle on your own

Just place your hands together, God, your struggles known

God Is Standing Near Poem

I sit here writing, blessed with words, my pen it scribbles so
I’m thinking of the messages, the ones I share with you
I write about my faith in me, how it’s kept me strong
I write about my meetings, with God my hands belong

I write about my little chats, with Angels, wings on back
How they walk my steps with me, keeping life on track
I share the numbers they do send, my answers, prayers be found
I tell you of our fun times, as we dance around

Each day invite you into my world, each story sharing me
You don’t know who is writing, but each day, look to see
I share with you my troubled times, how I’ve called to God
I’ve even let you know, tears fall, when darkness has begot

I hope my stories help you out, I hope they stay in heart
I hope I give you guidance, for new steps to start
I hope when tears have fell from eyes, my words have picked you up
Too show you, never are alone, God knows you do need him

I say to you a feather seen, a butterfly you meet
A red breast as a Robin, perched upon a tree
A number which may cloud your mind, a whisper in your ear
These signs for you, are shouting out, God is standing near

My Meeting With God Poem

Two gates I see of pearly White, embraced with roses Red
In I go to take a look, Golden staircase met
Up I go, excited, following light of White
Unsure of when I’ll reach the top, to meet my God of light

Their he stands, his attire all White, to match his beard of White
His two hands outstretched for me, surrounding glowing light
Hands now usher me to him, forward I do walk
Me and God a facing, I kneel before my Lord

Up I get, he stares at me, hand, he strokes my face
He tells me he has summoned me, to meet him at his place
Child he says, as lips I watch, don’t worry, don’t you see
The troubles you are facing, are right inside with me

I see your path, I planned it well, one day your eyes will see
All the beauty splendours, my little treat from me
I’ve seen you struggling day by day, but never do give up
I promise I not fail you, your faith I will support

I’ve given you a family, one to always love
A grandson, he’s you’re miracle, one sent from up above
I’ve given you two hands to write, two legs so you can walk
I’ve given to you breath each day, so you can love much more

So you see my child, your splendours are with you
You need not look much further, your family are with you
Yes there’s more, there always will, but live your day as one
To treasure all the things right now, I’ve given to blossom
