The Beach I will Be

I know it is 10.30, nearly time for bed

I think I’ll have a journey, one within, my head

I can’t decide, where I will go, I'm gonna have a think

I think I’m nearly, at the point, my mind, is on the brink

Yes, I’m wearing slippers, fluffy, dressing gown

But, now my view much different, I’ll show you, so around

Now, I’m in bikini, in hammock, hang from tree

Swaying, to the music, the ocean waves, catch breeze

Hair, now loose, all tousled, blonde curls, lay, shoulders so

The sun, so hitting, bridge of nose, freckles, Brown, now rose

Heat radiates, across all bare, I sink, into the warmth

Eyelids closing, so relaxed, my lashes, so are curled

So you see, Yes, bed be soon, but the beach, I had to see

Just to feel the warmth today, sway, to waves, in sea

Feel the heat, my body lay, soothing all off me

My mind, relaxed, I’m ready, to ease now, into sleep

How Many Times

How many times, have I travelled back, to join, this world again

How many times, have I shared First cry, has I left, my Mother’s womb

How many times, have I had to grow, learn, what life’s all about

How many times, many paths, I’ve travelled, sharing all, I shout

How many times, different trials, I’ve passed, grown, into new life

How many times, have I been wed, someone’s, precious wife

How many walls, have I broken down, collecting Strength, on way

How many times, have I left this world, return, again, someday

I do not know this answer, I cannot even guess

I don’t know if my knowledge now, in this life, I am blessed

I don’t know if my Wisdom gained, I’ve saved, along the way

But this I know, I’ll find my answer, when, I leave this life, someday

I take my words a floating, through the air, they go

Now you’re in my perfect world, words, reaching Heart, from thee

To still my mind, Heart opens up, my journey, does unfold

I love my time in stillness, peace, my words, flow ease

My View Of The Morning

This morning, what a beauty, in garden, I do sit

Sipping on my coffee, watching, sun rays hit

Listening, to the many birds, chirping, is their call

Notice, how my flowers, start bloom, climbing, up my wall

Newspaper, in my hand, eyes, they start, to scan

Biting on my toast, still warm, covered so, with jam

Slippers still, upon my feet, I gently, kick, them so

Barefoot, I connect, with ground, energy, now starts, to flow

Sitting in this perfect place, me, myself, alone

Enjoying every moment, before my quiet, flown

My working day, about to start, computer, I plug in

Don’t so worry, I’ll be back, as the night sky, settles in

My Lights Will Stay Always

When my eyes first opened, I was joined, with many lights

I followed them, so everyday, kept them in my sights

Chuckle, in my crib, I’d do, my tiny hands, reached so

Hoping to hold, one of them, mesmerised, by glow

Many colours, I did see, merge, they sometimes, did

Sometimes, they lay, close to me, sometimes, one, would hide

They joined me, as I crawled the floors, when I took, first step

They even lifted, me when fell, lift, my fallen lips

My lights, still here, never left, they join me, everyday

I spot them, when my eyes do wake, I call out, I say, hey

I spot them, on computer screen, as I type away

Sometimes, they shine, very bright, to help me, on my way

My lights, my comfort, my best friends, I even, know their names

I know they will continue, to join me, everyday

A day not pass, not feel alone, they continue, to be around

I know, they’ll live my life with me, always stay around

I thought I’d write today, a Story, for you to read

It is a story, off long ago, one, where smile, does shine

A child small, so I am, in bunches, so my hair

I was around, the age of five, or somewhere, around there

I sat a kneeling, by my bed, my tiny hands, joined so

Waiting for my Father, to come to me, hello

I closed my eyes, I called his name, a presence, next to me

My Father, from the skies above, come kneeled, down by thee

I said my prayers, in my head, he knew, my every say

I felt his arms, my shoulders touched, my worries, took away

That night, I slept, so sound, peaceful, as deep, as I could be

In my dreams, my Father, sent, my Angels, come to me

We chatted so, throughout the night, a merry dance, we had

I thanked my Father up above, shown me Heaven, my first glance

As a child small, many stories, now write, true

I now write, about the time, first met, my Angel, Blue

Introductions, passed his lips, Michael, so I am

In your life, I’ll walk with you, always, hold your hand

Michael and me, had much fun, we’d roll down, hillsides, Green

Sometimes, he would, fly me high, so all the world, be seen

Some days we spent, by little streams, our fingers, trailed, Waters warm

Sometimes, we would chat away, fill my mind, with what’s to come

Many things, he taught me so, One, to call his name

Never, let my tears fall, unless, he’d catch them so

We’d meet at times, off breakfast, lunch, he stayed around

Bedtime, he would join me so, continue stories, in Heart, found

Michael, taught me well, in life, he told me, I should share

Not just things, material, things, to show, I care

Spring, first day, is here, everything, now bloom

A new season, look forward, sky, showing, its Blue

I Remember How They Felt

I remember how they felt, Two, strong arms, carry me

I felt them, when I was scared, alone, when I was aged, Three

I felt them, when my tiny lids, closed, in cradle, sleep

How you picked me up, gently, upstairs, you carried, me

I felt them, gently, usher me, my first day, go to, school

I felt them, on my Summer walks, enjoying, all from Lord

I felt them, if I did fall down, they gently, picked, up so

I felt them, wipe my nose, from wet, if my tears, flow

I felt, Two, arms, around me, joined, when I cradled, Two

My children, both my precious, I say to you, Thank you

My Grandson, so a miracle, your arms, helped, soothe, him so

Your arms, felt strong, much comfort, when, loved ones, had to go

Your Two arms, I feel every day, they so, are here, with me

Even as, I write these words, your arms, placed now, round thee

You gently, move my fingers, so my words, appear

Thank you God, not letting go, always with me, stay here

This was once me, an empty shell, hidden, out of sight

No existence, in this world, my only comfort, light

My words, not shared, so hidden, no voice, to call my own

Scared to show the world, who I am, only me and Lord

One silent night, my light, shone bright, something in me, spoke

I took a blank screen, owned it well, shared words, my Heart, did hold

My View After The Storm

I’ve stepped outside in garden, to take a little rest

The wind, died down, all now still, the storm, came at its best

On the ground, where grass once lay, covered now, with twigs

The wind so broke, my tree of tall, I’ll share the other things

I hear in distance, music blare, from cars, so passing by

In the sky, as I look up, the cloud of full, catch eye

I’m guessing, more rain on its way, as only specks, of Blue

I wonder if the air of dry, sends raindrops, pouring through

I hear the children, running past, scream, excitedly 

I spot a bird, clean feathers so, perched upon, my tree

I notice in my flowerbed, the Rose, planted, last year

Swaying gently, petals flow, in Summer, bloom, appear

A five minute break, brought so much, plenty, now to share

I hope you like my story, my writing, with much care

I wanted so to capture, my break, so brought to me

As a child small, I felt a presence near

One, whose steps, I couldn’t see, my ears, neither hear

Two hands, they always held me, joined so, in my walk

My lips were not of movement, communicate, Hearts, talk

Each day, as I played away, I always shared my things

One for me and other, oh, what joy it brings

A Story, I would share it so, I hope, like one, I’ve picked

I’d even perform some magic, brilliant, now my tricks 

Every night, a pillow laid, gently, next to mine 

I’d pat my pillow, snuggle so, settled in my mind

I’d join my hands, I’d close my eyes, my prayers, I so would say

I’ve seen a vision, many years, it’s carried me, each day through

It is a one off perfect, our world, it brings us true

The bridges, White, Join both worlds, Heaven, does meet feet

As humans, Angels will be seen, as clear, as you and me

They’ll pass our paths everyday, the veil, removed, plain see

Angels will communicate, the same as you and me

No longer will, one place we’ll be, the bridges, unite Two

Our eyes no longer searching for, the signs, our Angels near

My White Within My Jar

I spot something in the distance, so it catches eye

I cannot take my eyes off it, I’ll now explain, the why

It’s something, quite so beautiful, alluring, it so is

My feet now move, synchronised, forward, so not miss

As I’m getting closer, feel energy, drawing me

It hasn’t moved, just stays so still, inviting, calling thee

Nearly there, one last step, so I can touch it so

Hold it in my hands, to cherish, not laying it, down low

I have arrived, in hands I hold, my hands, so now do clasp

A slight release, to take a peek, no movement, so relaxed

I’ll take it home, so with me, keep it somewhere safe

So I can mimic, it’s stillness, every single day

Now safe in jar, I watch it so, no movement, from where placed

Something White, so elegant, I decorate, jar, lace

I place it on my chest of drawers, ones, by side of bed

So every morning and each night, my feather seen, turned head

Scars Not Visible

If a mirror was placed before, only skin, be seen

What do the eyes now see, it isn’t plain to see

Yes, a structure, made of bones, draped over, so our shield

I ask a closer look, be seen, is anything, now visible 

I’ll share with you, my mirror view, your eyes, now so do stare

Skin I have, a difference, tattooed, my scars, in Red

Over chest, my centre heart, my hurt and pain, now seen

Elsewhere over body, my tattoos, embedded in

So you see, my scars are visible, your eyes, have seen the lines

Take a look in mirror, is your skin, tattooed like mine

Suppose what I am saying, our scars, not visible, eye

But underneath our smiles, our tattoos, they do not lie

Capture My Vision

Walking through the darkened streets, everything, so quiet

No other person, joins my walk, nothing seen, for miles

My only comfort, I now join, are the lights, that pave, the paths

Standing underneath, bright light, my hands hold, lamppost, grasp

My whole self, illuminated, by the beam of lights, surround

I settle, underneath it, connect now, with the ground

My legs, crossed over, close my eyes, sit, within the light

My street, no longer feels in dark, my night, shining so bright

I stay like this for hours, losing track of time

Then something, does startle me, my eyes, they open, wide

A dog of small, a little yap, it comes to join me so 

Settled, cushioned, on my knee, it brings with it, a glow

I now must go, head off for home, my memory, I so keep

Laying on my bed, so soft, recapture, time on street

I start my words, create much lines, on paper, memory, seen

In Perfect Bliss

I’m sitting here just thinking, my mind, where will it roam

I don’t know, where my steps will lead, Will I stay at home

I’m going to let, my mind feel still, off unknown, I now go

The leaves of Gold, Greens and Browns, are laden on the ground

Everything so perfect, no noise, what perfect, sound

Who would have thought, my time I gave, my time to have a rest

My mind, my heart and my soul, flowing at their best

My field not seen, from visions brought, found, within the still

Tomorrow, I will do the same, enjoy, the perfect bliss

It Starts In Your Garden

My tiny fingers, trail blades of grass, pull petal, smell it so

I touch the bark, upon the tree, watch, as the Bluebells grow

My hand it strokes, the horses head, as I’m slowly walking past

I sit just now, upon a log, this view of mine, will last

I spot the Bluebird, perched on branch, it gently, shakes it’s feathers

I notice now a Butterfly, sent to me from Heaven

A friend joins me, scurries round ankles, it’s tail, tickles me

With me, I’m not now alone, a Grey Mouse, come joins thee

My hearing amplified, I go now explore, my toes, the waters warm

I’m sitting by the riverbed, this time, I do adore

Who would have thought, all these things free, we have them everyday

Start off in your garden, let grasses, lead the way

Before I was placed in my parents hearts, you were there

When I was planted as a seed, you were there

My first breath, first cry, first look at the world, you were there

My first crawl, step, standing up, you were there

My first tear, my first smile, first tooth, you were there

My first day at school, my job, my children born, you were there

My good experiences, some bad, some with sunshine, rain, you were there

My first understanding of your light, my days in darkness, you were there

For all of my firsts, every experience in life, every challenge, you were there

Every lift I needed, every pat on the back, you were there

I want to say thank you, my Father Up Above 

Without you there, whose footsteps, would guide me

My Star And Me

I see a little twinkle, in the sky of night

I watch it closely, now not blink, mesmerised by light

It seems so very settled, content, where it does lay

Alone within areas vast, I know this place, it’ll stay

I wonder how it’s feeling, does it feel afraid

Nothing else to join it, still it so remains

I’m thinking, is it calling out, for other lights to join 

No movement, just a flicker, still it doesn’t roam

Then a thought occurs to me, this star, is not alone

It has my undivided attention, I’m invited, to its home

Now together, both we are, enjoying, the night sky

When the Sun, does break at dawn, my hand, will wave goodbye

Our Human Self

Our human self, resembling tree, growing and thriving

Our feet, our trunks, embroiled in the soil, surviving

Our arms, outstretched, our fingers part, branches, resemble so

Our hair, the wind blows upwards, leaves, continue grow

Our self resembling, the oceans, streams, rivers too

Internally, we are made up, of waters, flowing through

We need the wet, to survive, without, we cannot live

Inside our waters, feel so calm, sometimes, a storm beneath

Our self resembling, birds that fly, our voice box, produces song

Upon our backs, we have Two Wings, freedom, we do long

Our souls do soar, explore the world, the same as birds so do

We close our wings, our feathers, hibernate, heal through

Our self resembling nature, we shine just like the sun

Sometimes we can carry weight, our shoulders, take the brunt 

We can walk the lands in barefoot, join the energy

We give love so to Nature, it too does carry thee
