I Knew God Carried Her Through

I’ll share with you true story, each word I write for you 

It happened on a Winters Eve, my heart was crying through

It felt like my heart, was stolen so, my tears, my eyelids met

It was a pain excruciating, it hurt, my heart, not forget

Someone I love so dearly, their heart was hurting so

I could feel their pain, flow through me, I wanted their pain to go

I knew I couldn’t take this all away, as Grieving they had to do

So I did the one thing, I knew would help, I Joined my hands of Two

I prayed to God, called my Angels help, they all now joined my room

Around the room filled with colours, some Pink and also Blues

My loved one came and joined me, I held her hand so tight

Around her tiny hand, I watched, as the colours shone so bright

Inside my heart, knew would be all okay, one day her pain will ease

All I could do was call on my God, to carry her, when fall on knees

Many years now passed, we still discuss, the pain her heart went through

My loved one, shared one thing with me, I know God helped carry me through

My Love As Touched Your Crown

I’m sitting on my sofa, no travel I can go

I’m thinking, how I can share my love, within the world I know

I feel my mind go silent, my heart is opening up

My love is now erupting, like fireworks that blow

My heart is fully open, like the opening of Gods Two gates

My love I now watch flowing, a light of White creates

My love is flowing at full speed, so happy to be set free

It’s on its way to all of you, I’m sending love from me

As it settles on your crown, a warmth inside you’ll feel

You may feel tingling on your crown, the feeling, oh so real

Treasure what you’ve just received, keep it in your heart

Whenever your crown tingles, your heart receives a spark

I’ve sent a little something, just for you today

I hope you keep it nice and safe, use it everyday

I ask your heart be open, it’s coming now join you

I’ve also placed some courage, a little bit of strength

Our Future World Of Bright

Our future world, we have a chance, one of new create

How you say, can we do this, our words can’t have a say

I’ll share a guided word with you, one to bring much hope

You have the one thing, to help change our world, one your heart does spoke

Our words, we hold within our hearts, can be sent now in a prayer

When they leave our hearts of Red, God’s hands are waiting there

God will capture  our words of love, also so our light

God will send them to our world, make everything look bright

One thing I know, so sure and true, God is waiting so

So send your prayer for him to catch, release, our world will glow

If we send our million prayers, no room so left for dark

Our prayers will start our world of new, from just one tiny spark

This year has been a tough one, we’ve all felt warm our tears

We’ve all adapted to the change, we’ve fought harder than much years

We’ve held each hands so tightly, we’ve walked in the same steps

We’ve felt a strength inside of us, not giving up, prayers sent

This year is so now nearing, uncertain we may feel

This last Twelve months been challenging, our pain in hearts so real

We’ve come together as a world, One we have become

So keep your light, your prayers and hope, keep our hands held strong

We can make it, so we can, adapt to world of change

We’ve held on strong, again we will, continue to fight pain

Our Two hands are precious, united so they bring

Keep your light with your heart, let our future sing

We each have a gift of everything, to share within our world

It’s called our own creativity, to treasure and to hold

Some can bake the perfect bread, some herd our woolly sheep

Some can climb a mountain, some sail across the seas

Some each day, save a million lives, stop families tears so fall

Some can put a fire out, or hang a perfect door

Some keep all our animals safe, deliver new born into life

Some do bring us comfort, when our loved ones not in sight

Stairway To God’s Garden

My mind at present still, sitting in the Greens

No noise around, distraction none, softly so a breeze

My heart beats slow, in rhythm, in sync with one I know

Sitting now beside me, my friends, with wings, halo

Floating now, legs uncurled, elevate from ground

Tiny hand in one I trust, I’m guided to God’s hand

Eyes now open, very slight, sporting now a squint

There before, grand staircase, my steps now start to creep

Looking over shoulder, my eyes now in much awe

Before me in God’s Garden, a place of pure adore

I Follow in his footsteps, we chat upon his seat

I know each time, I sit in still, God’s Garden I do meet

The Christmas Of Miracles

This Christmas time is special, a different one before

Yes, there will be laughter, others stand outside your door

Hugging may be off the list, a little kiss on cheek

Remember, we will all miss loved ones, for months we may not speak

A Christmas to remember, how can we change this so

How can we all have smiles and cheer, our love for others know

Not being so together, yes, it’s really hard 

Make this one so special, with your words expressed in cards

At times like this, one small thing counts, so think of your words now

You’re loved ones over years, you’ve seen, your words you’ve not let out

Tell them, how you love them so, how much they mean to you

A few words so are written, so precious, come from you

So yes, you may not see their face, or hug them oh so tight

My Little Box Of Hope

I’ve captured in My Two Hands, million feathers from up above

I’ve kept them safe within my box, placed around them all my love

I sat, my mind, a thinking, how can I send world hope

Then an idea, came to me, from my message, God’s words spoke

I buy my perfect boxes, dainty, so they are

I place in One White feather, tie neat my bow, send far

I put them in my little bag, onto the streets I go

Placing them on doorsteps, of others, I not know

Each one when it is opened, is brimming so with love 

Take yours, keep it nice and safe, thank God from Up above

Each time you feel, your light goes dim, hold feather in your hand

Thank God so from up above, your hand, your Father found

Hope At Christmas

Christmas getting closer, a sound of cheer is near

This year a little different, some loved ones, not hold dear

Some tears they’ll be flowing, loved ones they have lost

Families sending prayers of hope, show no one is forgot

My prayer of hope, I send to all, on Christmas Eve, join light

Light a little candle, watch how it burns so bright

Watch it so, it’s flicker, that little spark of hope

If all in world, light candle, love sent, to heal our world

The message, I so share with all, your little light will bring

A year moving forward, hope in sight it sings

Each little light, it so does join, our love in hearts so felt

We all believed in miracles, next year our struggles melt

Walking In The Chill Of Night

Walking through the darkened streets, the only light, street lamp

My bobble hat upon my head, my gloves upon my hands

Scarf is draped around my neck, my woolly socks do match

The ground is crisp, the leaves do crunch, ice does come in patch

As I exhale, I watch my breath, now a fog of White

I wrap my arms around myself, I snuggle in now tight

On I walk, my face feels cold, my nose, a little drip

Watching where I make my steps, careful not to trip

Walking home, I feel so fresh, like the crispness of the air

Lighting open fire, warmth I now feel there

Finishing off hot chocolate, add marshmallows on the top

Sitting now in comfy chair, my walk I'm glad I got

Open Up Your Wings

Stop now still, don’t move an inch, let ground now embrace feet

Slow your breathing now, to still, close eyes, feel energy

Feel yourself now lighter, no weight on shoulders bare

Place your arms outstretched each side, balance you have there

Feel now warmth flow round you, twirling ground to high

Feel the wind embracing face, flowing from the sky

Imagine now as you feel free, your wings now taking flight

Inside you feel alive and strong, soaring towards the light

Open eyes, you look below, where you once did stand

Now your flying through the air, exploring all God’s land

In this moment, no more fear, no worry in your mind

Instead you’ve let your barriers down, your wings, your flying high

A Little Stroll In Mind

Today as I am sitting quiet, my mind it starts to roam

I let it flow where it does want, just Green, no Red, say no

I’m feeling so empowered, as I have this gift in me

No restrictions on my life, my mind I have set free

I join a pathway on my walk, it is much winding so

Edges decorated by tall trees, the light on leaves do glow

I meet a gate, I walk right in, great grandness does meet me

A maze is there before me, take my hand, so now join me

We start to giggle, laugh out loud, as we run throughout the maze

Twisting, turning corners, dead end we face again

Turning back, new pathway take, on and on we race

Exited by the great unknown, what is this much fun place

Hours pass, deeper we go, we can’t see anything

Over or so under, our eyes see now nothing

We stop, we stare, each other, then our eyes amaze

Realising, run no more, in centre, we now gaze

The only thing we now can do, is tilt our heads back slight

Up above, we see now Blue, with dotted clouds of White

Everything so peaceful, everything so calm

A maze we all have within us, our centre is our heart

No longer is your hand in mine, your courage, let it go

To visit where we’ve both just been, go too you heart and see

Your maze you’ll be, nice and calm, your eyes will meet The a Blue

Inside I Feel My Light

Inside I feel my light, I feel my constant glow

Inside I believe in who I am, God in me he knows

I feel my constant flicker, like my candle burning so

Never does my candle go out, my love helps flicker grow

I feel my light when words I share, my smile I so do share

I feel my light when others see, in my eyes, I do care

I feel my light when nature join, In waters, I do swim

I feel my light, when not give up, never giving in

My light like yours is always there, it brings to us much hope

If times get hard, just search your warmth, feel inside, candle spoke

Not let you down, dries your tears, puts smile back on your face

Only hope is present, no darkness, not a trace

Each silent breath taken, brings another chance

To change the life you’re living, sing now so, have dance

Another chance to smile, run barefoot, round garden so

Each silent breath, gives you room, to help your life so grow

Each tear you cry, brings release, to the things that hold you back

Everything so hidden, your wings stay closed, lose track

Let them so fall silently, let your pain now ease

Let your river of tears now rage, release your pain, now peace

Each beating of your heart, is the gift of life to you

Treat it as your blessing, follow your dreams through

Not stay within the shadows, no one knows you name

One Change Can Bring Much Hope

One change can bring much hope, it can happen to us all

One tiny step now forward, invites a brand new door

It can lead us on a different path, one where feet not tread

It can takes away our fears inside, take away all dread

I’m not saying just one tiny change, is easy so to do

It brings acceptance in our lives, but fear comes calling through

To shut out what we fear the most, replace with courage so

Feels like a mountain top, try to climb, but the snow is slowing you

I ask you all today, do so, take one thing you’d like to see

Hold it in your hand so tight, walk one step with ease

See, you have so made it, let another step, flow too

Your door is now before you, go in and walk right through

If you’re heart is aching, inside is heavy so

Something now needs healing, your soul it so does know

If you let your tears fall, catch them in your hand

Feel the warmth flow from them, God now understands

If your mind feels burdened, your head is hurting so

Go quiet for a second, let your worries go

Place them in a little box, say goodbye to them

When you feel strong enough, face another day

If you now can smile, I hope you so can see

Yourself is feeling lighter, hope you have in thee

Keep your smile a glowing, see your choice what made

Today you’ve given yourself the chance, to keep your worries bay

Heaven Calls My Name

In the still I do sit, my mind free from it all

I hear a voice call gently, come meet me at my door

Up I get, take small steps, onwards I do go

Nothing now is hurried, onwards I walk slow

My eyes do meet, a door of light, the handle I now turn

The light it is so beautiful, the light it doesn’t burn

In I go, the light guides me, to my special place

Now I am in Heaven, I’ve walked through God’s Two gates

Arms both curled, now, as one, we take a little walk

Through the grounds of Green, Emerald, we so talk

Me and God, we chat away, God shares much words with me

God fills my heart with knowledge to share with all of thee

What God spoke, I write each day, in every word I share

To show you all you have him so, he loves you so, he cares

He watches you so daily, he joins your dreams at night

He knows when you are troubled, surrounds you with his light

Finding Balance In Our Lives

My heart sometimes is heavy, sometimes it feels so light

I’m searching for a balance, make everything all right

I’m searching for consistency, my seesaw in mid air

But life each day as human, makes my seesaw sway 

I am only human, life,  sometimes gets so hard

I go outside in nature, to find some peace in heart

I know that I’ll have trials, many lessons so too learn

I love my time in nature, forget about the hurt

I understand each day that pass, different it will be

Sometimes I am in my head, sometimes I feel so free

Yes it can get weary, hard to so survive

If life does bring me struggles, I pray to God each night

In my head, a spinning, the thoughts,  catapult me so

Sending me in panic, my brow is sweating, grows

My heart is beating faster, my hands I twist so tight

I’m hoping so this feeling pass, my ego darkens light

Why I think, are you here today, just leave me so alone

I do not have the fight in me, deal with fears that grow

I didn’t invite you, to join my day, why have you now turned up

Unbalancing the peace in me, I’ll fight you, never give up

Go I say, as I point in front, not need you in my life 

I don’t need you to challenge me, take away my light

I have one path, I choose to walk, that doesn’t include you

Go away now ego, Ive had enough of you

I uncurl in the early morn, roll gently out of bed

Stretching out, hands now high, fingers, tame curls on head

Excited Tummy, adventure near, my clothes I now do choose

A woolly jumper, greets my jeans, place on and tie up shoes

Sliding down the banister, my feet now touch the ground

Sipping juice, my eggs whisked up, Kettle, whistle sounds

On I throw, my jacket warm, my bag upon my back

Out I go to meet the day, my feet now follow track

Walking on through fields of far, my eyes do scan around

I settle so, on ground I sit, nothing heard, no sound

Taking in my perfect view, my pen it start to write

Connecting to the Earth right now, words written in the light

My Two Hands In Prayer

I kneel by my bed tonight, hands of Two in prayer

I let my words flow freely, my heart it really cares

I pray, yes for the ones I love, I also pray for you

I ask when your heart feels great warmth, I’m right there so with you

Tucked up snug, within my quilt, my eyes they so do close

In my world of dreaming, I wonder where feet chose

I find myself, now in the void, a bright light all around

I’m all alone, no one here, silence heard, no sound

On I walk, I look so down, my feet they so are bare

Around me draped a cloth of White, Red Roses, band in hair

On I walk, familiar feel, my steps create now run

In the arms of Father, I run to love of One

Father takes my little hand, guides me to his home

We sit and talk for hours,  no longer feel alone

God and me, no words exchanged, understands me, oh so well

I feel much comfort in my heart, God feels my love as well

Waking now, I rub my eyes, the light in curtains come

I’m thinking about my dream last night, my hands of Two with God

A smile it comes upon my face, again I’ve learnt much words

Remembering what words shared with me, I’ll share what answers got

Upon my windowsill, my plant in pot does sit

Soaking up the sun rays, petals, so are lit

Pouring so my water, giving so my love

I watch my flower growing, a gift from up above

I share my words with flower, I give it confidence

I tell my flower your perfect, each day you so are loved

I give it time to prosper, I give it time to find

My flower is exploring, as its growing high

Suppose what I am saying, we all need these words too

We need someone to share their love, guide us through and through

Tell us we are beautiful, we’re perfect as we are

My View Creates My Words

The sun it is a setting, the air a little chill

I’m sitting on my rocking chair, sitting in the still

The sky is getting darker, the clouds are sweeping by

I take a look, one last time, as the sun leaves sky

I’m looking now at Blackness, with twinkling little lights

Each one is so beautiful, each star, sporting Five sights

Getting snug within my shawl, watch cold breath leave lips

Following the brightness, I say a perfect wish

Indoors I go, as air now cold, my poker, fire I tease

Sitting on my old armchair, I snuggle into knees

Taking out, my chunky pad, the top flipped off my pen

I’m scribbling words, my eyes witnessed, I live my view again

The Wind Opened Up My Wings

The wind today so blowing, the leaves lift off the ground

I’m standing still, my feet now move, I elevate, swirl round

Then I feel a flapping, my wings have opened Two

Off I go towards the skies, calling me to Blue

In the air, I glide so free, today I feel alive

Nothing there to stop me, supported wings fly high

Looking down, from great height, my vision now is clear

Stand in still, come join me, my light attracts you here

Hi, I say, how do you do, I gently take your hand

We’re flying over mountain tops, the view from high we have

Our wings of Two, complete in sync, we go explore the world

Our wings are one of precious, placed on our backs from Lord

I Followed My Light

I’m sitting here just writing, let the words float from my heart

My candles burning brightly, no noise around, cause start

My mind it is so empty, peacefulness does fill

Then the corner of my eye, spots something so in still

 

Not taking away my view from it, I try to zoom in close

Then it starts to flicker, moving oh so slow

My eyes they start to follow, watch where it does land

My little light, perfection, I know it’s from God’s hands

My little light, it spins around, in mid air, like so dance

I get up slowly from my seat, stretch out my hand, catch Chance

My little light, too fast for me, so again I do sit down

Then my light does join me so and settles on my hand

Today I Need The Still

Today I need a little time, to catch each breath I take

To work out life, find simple, no hurry now, take break

I need to slow my breathing down, empty so my mind

So room is found, for visions come, brings things which so do hide

I need to connect with centre, my heart inside my chest

To hold my love in my Two hands, send prayers, let God do rest

My prayers are like each petal, that flow from off each flower

I sit in silence as I pray, my petals flow for hours

I’ve sent one for you and you and you, I ask hold out your hand

Catch your petal gently, place it safe and sound

If at times life does get hard, or a loved one needs your love

Place your petal in your hand, send prayer to God above

Transformation In My Garden

Whistling of the tree tops, the tiny pats of rain

Watching from my Garden, on branch a bird remains

I see the wet lay silently, on each petal of a flower

I hear a bumble bee of stripes, hovering now near

I hear the crunch of leaves on ground, as they gently meet my feet

I hear the tiny pitter patter, of mouse on ground, we meet

I smell aromas in the air, as the wet, brings all alive

My senses so are heightened, my eyes not seeing blind

I feel upon my crown of head, the warmth of sun, now shines

I hear silence instead of whistling, the tiny pats have dried

I spot the flowers a blooming, the bird on branch takes flight

No further crunch upon the ground, instead now Green delight

The aromas now much stronger, I’m totally in awe

To watch how when the rain dries up, life begins once more

I stay within my garden, until the evening comes

Transformed again into beautiful, the light of stars, hit floor

My Teenage Years

My life when I was a teenager, oh how life was fun

Skating up a down my road, my hair tied up in bun

Sporting lip gloss, from market stall, thinking I was cool

Waiting for the ice cream van, my mouth now in a drool

Ice skating rink, whizzing round, to music, pump up the jam

Now my hair with tones of Blonde, a fringe, like George, from Wham

Wearing earrings blue in ears, eyeliner so much Black

How I wish to have one day, to have these fun times back

Fairground came, rides fifty pence, laughter heard for miles

Sitting now on waltzer, my face not full of smiles

Faster, faster I do spin, the end does finally come

Giddy as I leave the ride, unbalanced I’ve become

Black ski pants, sporting brogues, Pink cardigan does match

Hair now short, sits in spikes, hair gel suits it well

Communards, I’ve learnt dance well, when meeting disco floor

Everyone a clapping, I dance for them some more

God And Me In The Waters

Sitting by the oceans edge, the waters meet my feet

I’m not alone, beach empty, God, my side, he meets

We spend so many hours, sun rays of warm do hit

Every inch of my body, radiating, peace within

I sit and talk with God today, I ask him about my life

God shares it’s not been easy child, not give up, so did fight

I’ve watched your struggles sent to you, overcome you so have met

I gave to you the strength you’d need, courage also sent

My child, he says, not wake you up, your life was such a blur

Then I watched you realise, so much in life you’ve learned

It makes me happy everyday, you share your life around

Bringing hope to others, not woken up on ground

God and me then do get up, dust off the Golden sand

Walking into oceans Blue, now deep, we hold each hands

Deeper go, immerse now do, worries wash away

When head pops up, I say these words, God, thank you for today

In Daydream I Meet God

Sitting here in silence, my breathing now does slow

My eyes now shut so perfectly, quiet I now go

In my mind of daydream, my journey does begin

Steps upon the floor of glass, below the world I see

It’s like I’m elevating, myself  I’m half way up

Floating now in mid air, I feel like I am stuck

There before more glass I see, this time a staircase there

Over to the first step, catch my breath, as I do stare

Knees a little trembling, one foot now so does move 

Onward, upwards, feet meet glass, my stairs continue groove

Nearly at the top I see, a landing so of glass

One last step, I’ve made it, I give myself a clap

Then I feel a weight on me, my shoulder I do mean

It feels so heavy, with gentlest touch, I know who has joined me

Side by side, so we are, my Father here with me

My daydream brought me much today, God I so have seen

Free As A Bird

Free, I’m free as a bird, soaring through heights of Blue

The air envelopes my body, my Two wings flap too

My body is so weightless, nothing holding back

No heaviness on shoulders, worries I now lack

Soaring, soaring, oh what fun, around and round I spin

Feet now pointing towards up, my arms hang loose, wings in

Settling now on branch of tree, time to have a rest

For when I join the skies once more, I want to be my best

Who would have thought, my own Two wings, take me round the world

No traffic jam, no noise be heard, just peace and comfort more

Off again, my wings open up, off  to skies of Blue

Freedom is now how I feel, come join me, I’ll meet you

God Gave To Me

God’s Given to me my two hands, grateful I so am

God’s chosen me to use them, any way I can

My hands do have a purpose, as they tap away, write words

To bring much hope to others, brighten up their world

God’s Given to me my two eyes, to capture all he shares

So I can share my visions, take your hand, you join me there

My eyes are so of beauty, a camera lens, they so do zoom

To bring to all, what my eyes see, now placed within your room

God’s Given to me my precious heart, so I can send you love

I pray to ones my Angels, they join you from up above

God knows my heart, carries a million prayers, he captures them each night

I thank my Father up above, for all he brings to each life

In my bed of snug, my blankets placed on top

In my hand my cocoa, the other my book props

Reading by my candle bright, I hear the flickers so

Grateful to be warm and safe, filled tonight with hope

Drinking last of cocoa, I gently lay cup down

My words of the last chapter, book, safe place is found

My mind of still now thinking, I find this perfect so

Inside I’m feeling happy, I’ll share with one I know

Before I lay me down to sleep, God please sit with me

I want to say I’m thankful, of all the things for me

I want to hold your hand so tight, look into your eyes

So you can see I’m grateful, for all you bring my life

I feel a warmth sit by me, I know that God is here

I place my tiny hand in his, choose my words, hold dear

I feel the room get warmer, God’s felt in me my love

Come Join God’s Bench

My hand it grabs the rail, up around curl so

I’m looking up before me, my staircase now so grows

Going on forever, the end I don’t see near

My Faith it keeps me going, although my climb unclear

Up and up I trail, as others pass me by

Not are ones of human, Two wings do catch my eye

I’m following the music, gently played on harp

Taking in aromas, flowers spread apart

Climbing on, my tummy noise, inside I’m nervous so

Why a staircase before me, what will my climbs do show

I never think of stopping, going walk of back

Instead I keep on climbing, keep my steps on track

Then it so appears, the end now in mid air

A door with Golden lights so bright, placed before right there

In I go, into the light, I’m met by colours Green

Walking now in Gardens, before I so have seen

So excited I pick up pace, I go to find my bench

One of White and perfect, here I join best friend

I sit so still, my hands in prayer, then I see him join

Sitting now beside me, My Father one so true

I ask God why, do you ask me here, why do you sit with me

God looked at me and whispered, a message I have thee

I gave you words, your own true gift, I gave so you could share

To say my name, give others hope, my bench they also share

God Takes Me On A Walk

Today I’ve been a walking, slowly is my pace

My mind is feeling tired, trying to keep up pace

My weeks and months been busy, telephone glued to ear

No time to catch a single breath, my walk of still is here

Tiny steps I’m taking, my tip of foot, kicks grass

I stop and pick a flower, behind my ear, I place

Slowly keep on walking, taking in the view

Then I feel a gentle arm, comfort me right through

No longer am I on my own, God walks beside of me

All my stress inside of me, God’s hands do take from me

My heart now feeling lighter, no heaviness in mind

Walking with my Father, I feel so warm inside

I turn to God, we both just stare, his hands placed on my face

I look at him, he smiles at me, your weariness replace

A smile emerge, eyes now shine, I feel my vibrant self

God came to me, when needed so, to help me find myself

We Meet Half Way

If I took a piece of rope, stretched it far and wide

My hands are holding just one end, the other you hold on

Our worlds are million miles between, but same steps we so do take

Moving forward on our paths, hold tight, our rope not break

We don’t know where we’re walking to, but still we carry on

Trusting in the one called God, our distance still is strong

Many years do pass us by, but our rope we cling on too

Waiting to reach other end, no knowing what finds through

Nearly there, few miles to go, the days are passing by

Our tiny footsteps carry on, our distance now not few

Few more steps, expect to meet, our other end of rope

Leaning on my knees, now so, my cloth draped around my legs

Leaning by the side of bed, my head resting on edge

My lashes now curled shut, my head remains in bow

In my mind I choose my words, from heart, I share Lord now

I feel great warmth rise now in me, from toes through to my head

I feel a presence next to me, my hand I hold out, spread

Yes, the presence invisible, to the human eye

God is kneeling beside me, to catch my prayers sent high

Getting up, climb into bed, my quilt placed over me

I know I’m still with God by side, he brings comfort to me

I know I will sleep safe and sound, the warmth inside exists

I feel God sitting next to me, he’ll watch me as I sleep

My heart, oh heart, my love is flowing from
I place my two hands close to it, feel my heart beat strong
Love now leaves, it joins now light, both I send to all

Say Goodbye To Negativity Poem

With each negative thought, comes loss
Our energies are depleted, our self worth forgotten
One thought consumes our day, another day wasted
How can one thought change our perception, our dreams lost

One negative thought, takes away our smiles
Brings tears that wet our face, makes our heart heavy
One thought, how can it hold so much power
How does it decide how we walk our path, our outcome

One positive thought, uses less energy, makes us feel alive
Brings to us a world of light, brings our dreams into our essence
One thought brings us hope, an everlasting happiness
It decides our path, gives us focus, stops us from falling

If we changed our mindset to positive, we give ourselves time to reflect

My Mind Travels The World Today

Waking up, my duvet thrown, my feet spring out of bed

Washing face, teeth now brushed, my curls tied up on head

Excited tummy, somersaults, today I will adore

Quick grab of croissant, slurp of juice, I head out of my door

Not noticing, my walk a stride, I’m on my merry way

Crossing over fields of Green, jumping Yellow hay

There before, big open space, perimeter, grand old trees

On I walk into the unknown, adventure waits for me

My feet now crossing stretch of land, I see so many things

I spot the light that settles, on tips of leaves, just tinge

I smell flowers of all colours, my tiny tips do trail

When a child small, with God I always chose
He’d greet me as my eyes woke up, commute with me to school
He’d join me in the playground, me and my best friend
God joined me so for supper, meet at prayer, nights end

God he is the one I trust, he never lets me down
He’s always listened to words I’ve shared, answers I so found
I knew when I was on wrong path, I felt his hands move me
God he never failed me, he had a plan for me

God leans over, reads my words, I send to you each day
Sometimes I hear him chuckling, when my brain says hey
God tells me not to worry, my words I so will find
God tells me to open up my heart, my love will help all find

Now grown up, well middle aged, I keep God close to me

As tears roll silently down my cheeks, so thankful, shared your life

To show you all within my heart, to thank for everything
You gave me strength to face my days, you fixed the things so wrong
You replaced the worries in my heart, you gave my life best start

We’d sit and chat for hours, into early hours morn
We’d have such fun on holidays, there when my children born
A pillar of strength you always were, rely on I could do
I miss you more than anything, my life is lost without you

You may not pass my home each day, I cannot knock your door
But everyday I think of you, each second heart yearns more
I pray each night, I fall asleep, I meet you in my dreams
I meet you by Red roses, in God’s garden you meet me

It’s here we sit and chat away, hold each hands so tight
I’ve shared with you my troubles, you’ve made all things alright
When I wake, my pillow wet, from tears, I had to leave

I smell God within the flowers, I feel God passing through the trees
I feel God within each blade of Grass, vibrant colours Green
I spot God within the words I write, vocal I so am
I see God in books I read each day, the light I share around

I see God in the eyes of my children, in my parents words of wise
I see God when I am in depths of low, also when climb high
I see God within every bird that flies, each fish that swim past slow
I see God in every stop sign, Green my colour, go

I feel God is near when taking pew, each time I’m sat in church

Waking up I rub my eyes, even have a stretch

A caterpillar, a replica, of how I start my life

Walking over God’s true land, exploring all in sight

Scurrying over leaves of Brown, climbing up tree branch

A little insect I so feel, exploring world around

Each time I’m faced with a brick wall, a mountain I must climb
I don’t know how I will do this, I’m shaking, quivering inside
I’m feeling on brow sweaty, very overwhelmed
I know I’m here not lonely, God, he has my hand

I know now face a trial, a new one, different from before
It doesn’t make it easier, I’ve conquered ones, much more

My Butterfly Chose Me Poem

I hear a little flutter, Two tiny wings I see
A beauty of all colours, comes to sit with me
On my hand it settles, no movement now it makes
My Butterfly of colours, silence, I take break

I sit within the sunshine, it’s rays hit gently so
Settling on my freckles, browning end of nose
I’m sitting in perfection, my breathing now as slowed
I’m looking at my Butterfly, today it’s me it chose

My Butterfly as brought to me, no distraction in my sight
Instead I am surrounded, sat within God’s light
I’ll stay like this for hours, afraid if I do move
My Butterfly will leave me, again my mind filled noise

We spend the day together, my Butterfly and me
I never want this feeling end, my soul is so happy
I notice how the dusk surrounds, appearing now a chill

Lighting up the walkways, arches that are grand
Following the lights of bright, I join God’s promised land

I’m sitting in the air of chill, shawl round shoulders drape
Looking into darkened skies, the little lights do stay
Twinkling in their movements, my eyes are mesmerised

This week, no work, I feel alive, enjoyed so very much
Laying in my bed, no alarm, time to now adjust
Walks through woodlands, catch up family, time I’ve spent in prayer
Not watching time, life passing by, peaceful and still there

Eating slowly, coffee not rushed, no computer screen I see
No phone so ringing round the clock, in stillness I have been
The sunshine shining down on me, sitting on my grass

I used to question life, look for answers so
Now I leave all in God’s hands, he already knows

Wind so lift me up, let me float in total peace

I asked my Angels please help me, then I felt their warmth
I asked them keep me safe and well, my precious family more
Then I felt a flutter, looking on my hand
Before a butterfly of bright, gently it does land

Admiring so, it’s colours Red, Blue and Spots of Black
I gently move, it lifts now high, but settles back on lap
It doesn’t want to leave me, it’s settled where it lays
Not moving, I’m in stillness, my butterfly for day

Through The Darkness I Found You Poem

I woke up, many years ago, the night my tears fell
Crumpled on a heap on floor, I knew the darkness well
My sobbing could be heard for miles, tears wet the floor
Then I felt a presence, float right through my door

I felt Two arms around me, strong in strength they felt
Inside I felt much calmer, on this night heart melt
God gave me reassurance, he wiped my tears dry
Then I met what saved me, I found my own true light

I started noticing signs for me, everywhere I went
Nothing so did miss my eyes, alert, of what God sent
Messages so loud and clear, waiting to be found
I trusted in what God sent me, I love you I cried loud

I’m so glad I found my light, first I had to fall
If the darkness not with me, how could I meet floor
Tears would not soak my face, Surrender so I do

I stand in front of mirror, I’m dressed now all in White
I watch my own reflection, my Aura full of light
I notice how my skin glows, my hair is tousled, fall

Our lives are replica of a book, I’ll share why this is so
Starting at beginning, in chapter One we show
With our cry from first breath, our journey does begin
Filling up the pages blank, exploring everything

Chapter Two, we’re growing still, our minds now storing so
Everything we’ve learnt so far, still have long way to go
Our chapter, turning now to Three, exciting is our life
Taking on the big wide world, our eyes are open wide

Chapter Four is calling, what will this stage now bring
Settling down, love of life, a child’s cry may sing

I've Conquered My Wall Poem

I climb over the haystacks, run across the bridge
Faster up a ladder, rolling down a hill
Reaching top of mountain, climb so up a tree
Then I reach a stumbling block, stay with me and see

I’ve reached something, no running through, never breaking down
I’m faced before a structure, built solid on the ground
I use my hands, trail, find a gap, no where be seen
I have no other choice in life, my steps, not one but three

Up I go, holding tight, in case I fall below
Forehead feeling now so moist, knees are trembling so
Nearly there, few climbs are left, then I’ll reach the top
Finally I’ve made it, I’m sitting on the lot

My wall I’ve climbed, I’m perched on top, now I’m looking round
Before I see an open road, nothing else be found

When I was a child of small, I never felt alone
I could feel God with me, welcome in my home
