My Inner Child Meets Me Poem
I remember as a child, my life it was carefree
No worry I would carry, no boulder followed me
My feet would be a skipping, a smile upon my face
My giggles heard for miles, much love for human race
My mind would wander for hours, the sky I watched the clouds
My fingers caressed the warm sands, appreciation for Gods land
My little satchel sporting leather, rested by my side
My book and pen to write my walks, great stories I would find
The little stream I would sit, my reflection waters seen
There before was innocence, my Curly locks do beam
The butterflies sweeping past, their wings they wave at me
Everything I see before, my inner child I’ve been

Then one day my life upturned, everything then changed
There before were eyes called two, my life now not the same

God Thank You Poem
My weekend I have spent, with family that I love
My daughter who is perfect, an Angel from above
I sit and watch her smiling, as love radiates from her
In her arms she cradles close, her son God sent to her
Her eyes are full of so much love, I see her light shine so
As she sees her precious one, sharing love as one
I see her delicate fingers, softly stroke his hair
Her face shows blessed and her thanks, too God she sent a prayer
God heard her praying through her tears, how her heart ached so
She prayed too have a precious one, so she could love him so
Then one day her dreams came true, in her arms a son
All she says now as she smiles, God my words too you, thank you

I took a walk today, in nature I did walk
My feet caressed the grasses, the sun the warmth brought more
My eyes could see for miles, blades dancing with the breeze
I even heard the humming, of the bumblebees
As my steps carried on my walk, my view it did expand

Everything before me, sent from Gods two hands

My eyes then caught a creature pure, colour brown I see
There between the grasses, a deer did jump for me
Very elegant was its jump, the sun reflects its coat

Seconds passed so quickly, thick lashes they curled so
A beauty there before me, sporting a brown coat
Between us both was silence, but another jump occurred
My walk continued on again, not alone, but in Gods home

Why does time control so much, we live by it each day

People say I’m selfless, nothing I will not do
They always say my two eyes, express words I love you
They say I’ll never hurry, I’ll always help them out
No words of no is spoken, only yes are words I shout
They say I’m always caring, I bring too them great faith
I tell them of my stories, my mind they do create
They say I am their saviour, when tests they have too overcome
They say I see their life in mine, as my answer I always give
They say I bring them closer, too God within their life
They say they would not know where to turn, if it wasn’t for you
My answer to all of them, always is the same
I only share with what I know, is trust in God’s name

They say I am a good listener, understanding is what I am
I also dry their tears, with words I speak too them

Hello to all who read my work. I hope I have brought too you hope, inspiration and faith within your lives through my words of love and light. I hope you have found your strength that lies within. I hope my words have touched your heart and soul and each and everyone of you have transformed and healed in some way. My words I share come from a place within my heart where every emotion a human being can experience is created into a Poem for you all, to realise you are not on your own, your struggles brings great strength and your courage is your trust in your faith and a knowing everything will be okay.
