Join Me In My Mind

I’m going on a little walk, now only in my mind

As I’m sitting here just now, my words I search, I find

Inside, my tummy excited, what will I so, create

I hope it is so beautiful, something, oh so great

Excuse me, so for being rude, not asking, question so

Do you wish to join me, the world of words, you know

I’ll give you so, a minute, let you, make up mind

I’m starting on my journey, catch up, come and find

I’m walking, now I’m outside, the air, is oh, so warm

I’m sporting, sun hat on my head, direction, I am torn

Do I let Green grasses, caress my feet, or swim, in waters deep

Do I sit, enjoy a picnic, relax, upon the beach

Oh wait, hello, you’ve joined me, I’ll let you, make the choice

I’ll follow, where you wish to go, find our Path, walk slow

I spot, your feet are bare less, so we run, throughout the grass

We fall together, side by side, both of us, do laugh

I hope tonight, you now feel calm, your Blues, have gone away

Joining me, within my mind, Green grasses, you have lay

I know it’s late, time, does not own, the stillness of your mind

Next time, you need some peace and quiet, your perfect space, you’ll find

My View Of Life Different

When a child of small, many dreams, many hopes, many smiles

My eyes, Two, precious, taking in the view of our world

Taking in the magic, spotting everything, nothing missed

I was like a sponge, soaking, absorbing, feeding my soul

When I was a teenager, many dream, many hopes, many smiles

My eyes, seeing the world slightly different, questioning

Understanding, life is full of decisions, a path, becoming

My mind, opening, looking, searching, adventure

When my teens ended, dreams faded, still hope, responsibility

Time moving faster, busyness, routine, challenges, trials

Walking a path, resembling a caterpillars movement, ups and downs

Smiles, tears, fear, pain, emotions, lost, confused, still Hope, be found

When I hit Midlife, many dreams, many hopes, many smiles

Not giving up, experience, Wisdom, understanding, knowledge

Stillness, time, overcoming challenges, confident in life

My eyes, seeing the world differently, accepting my inner child
