I feel so very blessed, today I am alive
I’ll share my day with the sun, the birds that take a dive
I’ll watch the flowers opening, the leaves that fall to ground
I’ll sit under my willow tree, no sound I hear around
I’ll pull on my green wellies, I’m able to take walk
I’m able to see what’s there in front, adventures through new door
I’m able to sit by the stream, watching life swim by
I’m able to climb to mountain peaks, journey in my mind
I’m able to hold my children’s hand, my grandson smile I see
I’m able to tell my parents, what they mean to me
I’m able to learn more of dreams, creating as I do
Thank you God for all of this, I send my words, love you
