I’ve Opened Up My Mind Poem

I’ve travelled many miles, within our world of true
I’ve climbed the biggest mountains, taking in the view
I’ve trudded through the forests, met by all live there
I’ve sat upon a rainbow, watched my view from there

I’ve rolled down so many hills, giggled all the way
I’ve seen a horse with wings attached, flying to find hay
I’ve swam upon a whales back, gently through the sea
I’ve sat upon the many logs, fallen from the trees

I’ve looked outside my window, my hands I’ve placed in prayer
I’ve watched the wars within the world, I’ve seen the people scared
I’ve seen the forest fires, hurricanes I’ve been in
I’ve even watched volcanoes erupt, lava spilling 

You may ask, many miles done, how much I’ve travelled so
If I told you, I’ve seen it all, you can see it too
Everything I write about, I’ve travelled in my mind
Every word I show before, I’ve opened up my mind
