My View Outside My Window Poem

Looking out my window, my eyes do catch a view
There before are fields far, breathtaking and brand new
The sunlight hitting blades of grass, the flowers in full bloom
Everything emerging, growth it does have room

Over grass a rabbit hops, stands on its hind legs
Chewing grass within its mouth, stops too have a rest
Up it looks and stares at me, contact we do make
No words exchanged, just a look, understanding it does take

Then my stare moves away, a beauty settled there
Sitting on my windowsill, a butterfly right there
It’s colours purple and of pink, glistens in the light
My view outside my window, one of pure delight

Love, light and healing energies too you all
