Many paths I’ve walked in life, some have made me grow
Sometimes I have fallen down, weakness now does show
Strength is there in weakness, it shows how strong you are
We each are only human, our falling takes us far
When we fall and hit the ground, a child, our mother lifts
As we take our bigger steps, our falls, a harder hit
Sometimes there’s hesitation, should I go, or should I stay
But standing up shows your strength in you, to fight another day
You see we all have many paths to walk, some flow easily
Then the ones that crumble you, you need your faith in thee
God’s given us the gift of light, he steers our path back home
So if your path does test you, call on your strength some more
