My bed it is so comfy, my sheets are flannelette
My quilt it is duckfeathered, my pillows encase my head
My hair it is all scraped up, tied now in a ball
My face all cleansed from makeup, sleep I do need all
My eyelids they are falling, my breathing softens so
My eyes now shut, I’m sleeping, a dream world, open view
I dream that I can see a light, it’s calling out too me
My adventure in the still of night, does begin for me
I’m walking now towards the light, it mesmerises me
On I walk, closer get, my light I do believe
If I keep on walking, I know I will meet it
So on I go, not give up, my light and me will be
My dream state, one of waking, do each replica
In my life, I see my light, it keeps me walking far
Yes in dream, I do the same, the message here I share
