My Dreams Become My Hammock Poem

I sit upon my hammock, swinging side too side
My body so relaxed in still, nothing in my mind
The warmth of sun is shining down, the heat it rises so
Every piece upon my skin, now of brown it glows

My hands I place behind my head, as gently I do rock
Mimicking my cradle, the one my mother shook
Eyelids heavy, closing so, my body now feels light
Dreams replace the sunshine, visions I now spot

Now I see my colours, bridges there of light
Angels walking everywhere, saying all’s alright
I see my face a smiling, floating light as be
My dreams becomes my hammock, gently soothing me

Love, light and healing energies too you all
