I woke today, my life complete, a perfect little boy
His arms lift up, he snuggles in, my heart is full of joy
His big blue eyes do look at me, my heart it starts to melt
We sit together on the chair, the window we lean out
Out we look, each smiling, I’m thanking God in mind
For his beautiful gift here with me, he lightens up my life
Just as I was finishing words, a sign is sent to see
A feather white, is floating past, God sent his sign to thee
The message sent was loud and clear, he felt my love inside
He saw the smile I placed upon, my darling grandsons face
He saw the bond we both do share, he watches as we laugh
God knows his gift he gave to me, I’ll cherish all my life
