Why do we look at life and only see the past
Why can't we let go of the things, that always hold us back
Why do we keep it with us, in the presence of the now
Why do we see our future bleak, with troubles we hold now
Our past has been and gone, these things we cannot change
We're living in the present now, today we make the change
We need to see where we are now and learn from what we had
We need to make sure the same mistakes, do not repeat again
Now we've chosen to do just that, our past it has no hold
Our present life will bring to us, the things our future knows
Our future will develop, from the things that we learn now
Our futures bright, be happy, your life it will work out
