I know my life as changed so much and like you I was scared
I had this path placed by God for me, my life was unprepared
I went from locking all away, hidden in the midst
Life I thought was comfortable, but God knew of this trick
God knew I had potential, he knew one day I'd share
He had placed his gifts inside of me, to show the world I care
We all have things of purpose, that we need to share around
So God shines his light, to bring you out, your life he helps today
God will not let you leave this world, until you see the truth
He brings you to your knees to pray, to show you what to do
God only as your interests at heart, remember he created you
God can see your life you waste, he trusts this work in you
God knew one day, you would let it out, in the shadows you can't stay
Cause how could you send his word, to others everyday
God has to keep your light so bright, so others can find you
God heals your life, so you can see the wonders there in you
