I lay within the oceans poem

I lay within the oceans, on my back I do stop still
I look up to the sky above, the sun shining down on me
There is no sound, the sea is calm, a ripple is not felt
I hear my heart beating, peacefulness surrounds

I feel a sense of nothing, life is passing by
There is nothing to distract me, I feel so alive
Why can't life be like this all the time, our mind is very clear
Your eyes sees things you would have missed, the beauty is now near

I stay there lost in my own world, one I've rarely seen
But the oceans give me opportunity, to evaluate the things
Within the stillness of my mind, my dreams they reappear
If I not now lay where I am, my visions would not be clear
