I spoke to God today, I spoke these words to him
I know you have my life planned out, I'm not quite sure of what that is
I ask him send me some more signs, so the dots they all do join
So I can walk my path for me, the one you planned with love
God spoke these words to me, don't worry you've done well
You've followed guidance so far, your helping others well
You see in you I gave you love, you share this everyday
People will return to you, to read your words each day
I asked God then, where do my words come from
He said you know the answer, there within your heart
That's why words you choose so easily, flow so well from you
Because you love all within humanity, your words have chosen you
I thanked God for giving me this gift, on my path I will remain
Each day I will share with you, my words from love again
If only you could see me now, a smile upon my face
To know when I go to sleep tonight, Gods words have reached your way
