I Am Me

I used to search far, the distance vast, the oceans

I couldn’t find, I would feel frustrated, myself let down

I couldn’t climb my walls, open my doors, turn my keys

I wandered, the light before my Guide, my Hope, held on

The milestones passed, my appreciation not noticed

My blessings not appreciated, occupied by my searching

Life passing by fast, trials coming with the waves

My tears fell, in resemblance with the rain falling from the clouds

Then One day this changed, realisation, my life, One Chance 

My creation, my path, my light, becoming who I was born to become

I had Faith, Trust, Hope, I learnt to still, go within, connect

I am me, myself, I, I love me, for Who I am today
