Settling down beside river bed, my side I am perched on
Listening to the trickles pass, the earth, energy is strong
I feel a hand, my shoulder placed, I know who has done this
I’ve felt this hand, all of my life, Michael, wings of his
I feel my Angel by my side, our breathing now in sync
We talk away for hours, no words our lips do speak
My Angel hears my every word, that come into my mind
He knows my dreams, my struggles in life, answers, help me find
The time as come, his hand is placed, my shoulder it does stay
I know he has to fly again, in my heart he’ll stay
I know he is, my side he stays, he walks with me in light
My own two wings now open up, my dreams, within my sight
