I’m faced now at a crossroads, I ask light path for me
Show me in a vision, the open road ahead

I’m in my mind of fun again, my inner child I meet
I’m running through the streets of Gold, others I do meet
Running to a place I know, where hours of fun be spent

Life at present uncertain, worry reigns our world
Separation from our loved ones, their hands untouched, not hold
Talking conversations, shared on phone or screens
A longing to be with them, carry on life’s dreams

Some in isolation, living on their own

Businesses are crumbling, pennies drift away

I held within my tiny arms, someone perfect so
Eyes of blue, lashes thick, pale skin, soft as snow
Fluffy hair, perfect white, red lips, a smile on show
The day my father sent to me, my son, to help him grow
