How can something so beautiful, hurt so very much
How can something so special, bring heartache to our life
How can we have so much of it, that we hide it from the world
Why do others give freely, this is what they've all been taught
What I'm sharing with you all, is the love we hold within
We know that it feels nice, but also hurts like hell
It's either beating way too fast, or its aching very much
It is there to share around, but others will abuse
Our heart and love, is more precious, more than you will know
It's there to guide us in our life, this is where God calls his home
It's ours to protect and keep safe, our love is all our own
But share yours with, the world right now and feel your heart glow
