The first filled with laughter, happy, I giggle, scream
The Second, I cry, I weep, I sob, I’m sad, tears fall
The third, I’m scared, terrified, I hide, seek safe
The Fourth, I’m worried, I overthink, go around and around
The Fifth, I’m neutral, just here, with me, not think
The sixth, I’m confused, I ask, I question, I seek
The Seventh, I’m still, I stop, I pause, I reflect
The Eighth, I’m inquisitive, I ask, I question, explore
The pages go on, this is life, each page, different
The chapters, kept written, different outcomes, emotions
Feelings, go on and on, changing by each turn
How can we be consistent, not knowing, keep growing
