Where do I start today, my illusions broken. A new day to see it all, I am so blessed I have so much to capture.
Do I sit, relaxed in my living room, the fire just low, background heat.
My cat, pretty, she is, Black and White, so content, just purring away within her dreams.
What if I was to change rooms, even look out of my Victorian Window, Green, what do my eyes capture, with this view, each blink, each stare, brings new.
I can tell you on this Winters afternoon, that my once Full Willow tree, no longer Green, no leaves, just Brown branches, frozen in time, hibernating even, awaiting the season of Spring, standing erect from the ground at the bottom of my backyard.
I spot on the fence, to my left, a bird, gently plucking at its feathers, One loose, falls gently to the ground, White in colour, a feather from my Angel.
I should go outside, first though, remove my slippers, wrap my knitted scarf around my neck, throw on my hoodie, and match it with a bobble hat, hold on, I nearly forgot, my fingerless gloves embrace each finger, here goes, brrrr it’s freezing, as I hug myself tightly, as I walk around my garden.
One, Two, Three, steps, I stop, I observe, what do I see.
I see perfect, I am staring at beautiful, nature all around, I soak up its energy, all warm and cosy inside.
I even hug my tree, I’m in love, I feel the trees energy flowing through me, warming my soul.
I head back in doors, warming my hot milk, bubbles forming, done.
What chocolate shall I add, what will compliment my tiny Pink and White Marshmallows.
Squirt cream, not too much, just a swirly shape, with a peak, pretty, a sprinkling of Chocolate flake, delicious.
Returning to my arm chair, removing my hat, gloves and scarf, placed upon my coat stand, again comfy in my fluffy slippers, this time though a woollen blanket, just draped over my knees, ever so delicate.
As I sip on my hot chocolate, I wonder what all my words have meant today.
Why has my page 14 brought you into my day, you’ve joined me in my living room, my kitchen, you’ve even walked with me in my garden, your eyes capturing the fallen White Feather, you’ve been with me as I’ve hugged my tree.
My hot chocolate, you now know I add marshmallows and cream with just a sprinkle of chocolate flake.
Who would have thought, my words have created another page, another story in my chapter.
I didn’t know where to start today, I never do.
I type my chapter and my page number and my imagination takes over, my creativity erupts.
Who knows what my words will create tomorrow, a new chapter to be born.
Love, light and healing energies too you all
