When a child of small, no worry in me found
Every day I felt my light, smile carried love around
My little locks of Blonde, flowing in the wind
Free with no restrictions, trailing behind me
My little freckles they did grow, with every beam of light
Little streaks of pure White locks, resembling inner bright
Every skip I did take, brought to me much more
A big wide world to have much fun, a present from my Lord
As I crossed the fields of Green, the blades, toes tickled so
Down I bend to pick a flower, held it to my nose
On I go to explore more, I stop then in my tracks
There before my eyes now wide, a rabbit jumping round
Off I chase to catch it so, my little legs then stall
Something else distracted me, a white horse standing tall
Up I walk so quietly, it’s eyes I look into
Then my horse snuggles in, love I feel so true
Hours pass, my tiny hands give it one last stroke
Round I turn and take my steps, across the grass I go
Then my walk becomes a skip, on my way back home
What a beautiful day I’ve had, my senses all a glow
