I see a light shine brightly, a tunnel I do see
Two hands are calling out too me, God is calling me
I walk on to go meet him, but a voice of tears I hear
Mummy please come back to me, your place with me is here
I walk a little further, but continue looking back
I see the light get brighter now, my daughter also shouts
I know that heaven is beautiful, I had a little glimpse
But I couldn’t leave my daughter, her life she needed me
What I learnt before I left, was a place before of true
Everything so peaceful, white lilies there in bloom
Little streams a flowing, bridges Angels walk
I also saw the ones who stayed, happy now with Lord
I never saw a tear in sight, only smiles on show
Everyone was glowing, no pain found in their home
Everyone was waving, their message loud and clear
Tell the ones we’ve left behind, we’ll be waiting for them here
