My Path With Words

I feel my soul, nudging me, giving me direction, my path open

I hear my soul, whispering, go on, move forward, you’ve got this

I feel the movement in my fingers, they are waiting, longing to work

I feel my eyes, roaming, searching, where have I left, my book and pen

I hear my soul, chit chatter, write, write, like never before

I feel my Larynx, in spasm, urging my vocal chords to explode, with words

I feel my need, my longing, to write, perform, such beautiful poems

I feel my soul, alive, waiting, excited, opening up to the world 

Why me, I question, a mind, a Heart, a soul, full of words

Trails and trails, all neat in a line, joining together, like a jigsaw

Creating a readable piece of work, an art, a beauty

My soul, I will follow, its lead, my path, with words
