Inside You Will Find

I used to search for answers, far and wide, I’d look

I’d read the words upon my screen, look within a book

I’d get confused, felt little lost, dead end, I’d always be

Searching for the meaning, of what life, it is to me

I knew life always precious, every day, blessed so

I’d run through Greens in Summer, stand in cold of snow

I’d sit upon a see saw, up and down I’d be

Nothing sprung into my mind, of the person, I call me

One day it clicked, stop searching, it’s right inside of  me

The light, there shining oh so bright, my soul inside of thee

I looked a little closer, like never so before

I see me, I am shining, joined so with my Lord

Wow, I thought, it’s me I see, always been there so

Why was I searching external, when all was so below

I’ve found my light, shine brightly, my search is so stopped now

If ever you are looking, go inside, your light be found
