We Think Perfect

Outside you see my skin, a smile across my face

You see my hair all perfect, no makeup, not a trace

My clothes all neat and proper, perfect pleat, my skirt

My heels, just inch, in patent, matched with crisp White shirt

You stare, you think, who is she, I wonder, what’s her name

I catch your glance, I smile, me I think the same

I wonder what your life is like, I guess you think that too

Why, when we look at others, we think perfect, never Blue

If we all could see internally, feel what others carry so

Would we reach inside, take out their pain, understand their Blue

If another hand, came to me, would I gladly let them see

Behind the smile, they first saw, would I give my pain for free

NO, would be my answer, my pain I need to heal

If it was to ever leave me, my journey not felt real

My pain it is my story, I hold within my Heart

The only time, I’d let it go, my prayer, is carried far

I Hear A Voice

I hear a voice, a sweet voice calling me, a voice of an Angel

I hear join me, take my hand, let’s fly, meet the sky

Let your feathers be free, open your wings, settle upon the clouds

See your world from great heights, a different view, perspective

Send the world your sign, a sign that will touch their open hands

A coin, a White Feather, a butterfly, anything they will not forget

A soft tune played upon a Golden Harp, a Ray from the sunlight

A parting in the clouds, reforming, creating, a White fluffy Heart

I follow the voice, my pace quickening, my wings opening, I fly

I soar, each breath, screaming freedom, pure freedom, I slow

I settle on my cloud, embedded in the fluff, a breath, a Heart

In my hand a feather, a feather sent with Faith, I let it go, it finds you

My bones within my fingers, slowly, they start to relax

No longer do they stay rigid, movement, they no longer lack

They are moving, like keys of a piano, ready to do their work

All waiting, anticipation, waiting for those words

Moving in sync, like the Arch of a caterpillar body, they go

No rush, slow paced, delightful, up and down, so slow 

The screen of White, no longer blank, words appear, before my eyes

I’m feeling so excited, my story today, you’ll find

Wow, like puppet, my fingers move, with string, it feels attached

Up and down my fingers type, my words, my story matched

Who would have thought, what bones could bring, only from One word

The story capturing, enjoying, fulfilled, applaud

I pick up a pad, a pen, an idea, sit comfortably, begin

I scribble, my style, technique, my movement

Creation, words, sentence, paragraph, a story, let’s start

Read, eyes moving side to side, information retained

I have a middle, emerged, awaiting, anticipation, building

Eyes transfixed, embroiled in the story, a play, a character 

No reason to leave, not wanting, in a place of Happy, still

Brain, pathways firing, imagination stirring, near ending

Sad, continue, finishing, preparation, ending, full stop

Not ready, continue, a longing, a holding, slow down

A story, a beginning, a middle, an end, a final

Can be read, again and again, my brain, reliving the words written

Each leaf, tiny leaf, slowly moving down the stream

Holding a tear, One single tear, belonging to One soul

Crying, silent, pain, excruciating, hurt, much hurt

Many reasons, so many thorns, searching so, kneeling

Holding on, Hope, an answer, a different outcome

Light, a flicker, no darkness, no defeat, no sense

Why, oh why, tears building, holding back, waiting to erupt

Heart, clutching, holding a rein, control, no whimper 

Life changing, emerging, twisting, turns, tears, brewing

Leaves, continuing, trailing, floating, swimming, free

A tear cannot be restricted, an emotion, a response 

Let a tear go, let a river flow, let an ocean become

Autumn Of Transformation

Autumn time, transformation, a time of many colours

Greens, merging into Red and Browns, branches on show

Early morning dew, blades of grass capture each droplet

Fluffy clouds of White, tinged with shades of Grey

The ground moist, feet sinking into the earth, boot prints

A crispness to the air, early morning frost, chilly breath

Hats and gloves ready, scarf knitted, boots polished

Acorns covering the ground, food for many, preparing

The early hours of darkness, curtains closed, soup cooking

Autumn leaves, twigs, branches, mist, freshness, old falling

Hibernation nearing, new preparing, nests built, dams ready

A season of plenty, a season of blessing, a season of good

My Visions From A Child

When a child of small, this vision came to me

One where I am smiling, living so carefree

The flutter of the Butterflies, that joined me so each day

Their wings the same as Angels, who watched over, as I play

The skies so Blue, so clear, the oceans, bottom see

The trees, that trap the sunlight, the humming of the Bee

The Grasses Green for miles, Yellow, the haystacks stay

Under the sky of darkness, the twilights start to sway

My stories always evident, no word, becoming stuck

I’d write away for hours, create my perfect book

I’d curl up in bed, upon my side, watch sibling faces, glow

As I read to them my stories, until their eyes lids slow

I dance to a tune, only my ears, soft vibrations, against my drum

My White dress, clung to upper, free flowing, below my ankles

My arms outstretched, long slender fingers, gently moving

My curls, swaying side to side, my shoulders, in sync

My slim legs, bare-less on my feet, slight elevation, dance around

A feather replica, light, weightless, like the delicacy of a White swan

A smile radiates upon my face, my tune, my dance, my freedom 

Light, like the rays of sunlight, the ones that stroke, the Autumn leaves

My tune, changing, another beat, just as beautiful as the first

This time harps, the pluck of strings, each ping, in beat with my Heart

No words, just music, just me alone, in the centre of everything

No distraction, no voice, just peace, quiet, just freedom

I had a dream, still do, my dream still lays, within my Heart

My dream, comes with love, a longing, a passion

It stays central within my Heart, no thorns, no negativity

It doesn’t feel, like a weight, pulling me back, holding on tight

It feels free, expanded, elevated, not staying in one place

It runs within the Grasses, swims in the oceans vast, mountains climb

My Words Won’t Wait

From as young as I remember, my words, they’d follow me

They’d meet me in the morning, through curtains, sunlight, see

They’d join me, as I watched the stars, settled in the sky

My words, create formation, within the clouds, set high

Sometimes, I’d try to shut them out, to give my brain a rest

They’re they’d go, a popping, trying to pick out best

They always were impatient, a story, so create

All pushing forward in my head, not wanting, so to wait

I’d always give up, grab a few, place them on the ground

I’d admire them so, switch them around,  my story, to be found

I’d hear them so, a popping, resembling, giggle so

Happy they are, a story formed, so I can now show you

I am alone with my words, all other distractions, blocked out

I need not the noise, the sound of the howling wind, the sound of a car horn

I need space, room to breathe, no pressure laying on my chest, just breathe

I need the warm sun upon my my face, I need my eyes to see the things hidden

I am alone, a Willow tree shading my head, my book in my hand

My pen, full of ink, energy flowing through my veins, my brain alive

I write alone, just me and my words, the freedom, fresh air, space

In solitude, no one, just me, my thoughts, my words, myself

I have no other voice, shouting No, don’t write that, no control

I can create anything and all, no restrictions, a story create

Awaiting for a story to emerge, anticipation, a yearning, engrossed

A beginning, an end, a finale, awaiting a sequel, excited

I Found Me In It All

Years ago, I searched for love, for acceptance, for kindness

For someone to stroke my hair, to look into my eyes, to kiss my lips 

I hoped to hear hello, I care, I love you, you are beautiful 

To look at me, like I was the only person around, enticed in my light

I searched, kept searching, not looking, my eyes closed, alone

Not noticed, felt sad, felt lonely, my hair not loose and free

Eyes not glistening like the stars, my lips not curled, just drooped

Why is love so hard, so draining, no substance, or feeling

A Heart, not filled with love, a longing, a wanting, just lost

Not beating with Red Hearts protruding, just dull, so dull

What does love feel like, how am I supposed to feel

How can my Heart beat love, light, smiles, beauty

I stopped searching, I stopped wanting acceptance and respect

I started to love myself, just me, my beauty, my light

I would brush my Blonde curls, encasing my face, my smile

Telling myself each day, l love you, you are perfect as you are

Try not to worry, try, to dry your tears

God knows the person, who you are, Perfect, many years

Life it brings us challenges, some are small, some big

Inside you’ll find the answers, go to your heart, so dig

Remember, as you wake each day, glad to be alive

Remember, all your previous struggles, look, you did survive

Inside, so find your courage, not silence, your voice so

Just let your light, keep shining, for others, you do know

If at times, your tears should fall, roll gently, down your face

Wipe them with, your hands so soft, smile, full of grace

Ask to see a rainbow, white feather on the floor

To give to you some extra strength, so you not cry, no more

Life it changes all the time, remember, these true words

Everything, will work out right, your heart, is with your Lord

Do not feel your lonely, your watched, so everyday

I’d sit upon a see saw, up and down I’d be

Nothing sprung into my mind, of the person, I call me

One day it clicked, stop searching, it’s right inside of  me

Why was I searching external, when all was so below

I stand within a field, I blow, the wind, I sway

I stand erect, all alone, miles of land, away

I do not feel lonely, the Sun joins me each day

Sometimes raindrops fall on me, on my top, they lay

I feel so very beautiful, my colours bright, catch eye

I love the way, you look at me, lay water in the ground

Smell me, admire, think of me, when no one else around

I have more than just my skin, another layer is there

One fits snug against my bones, another layer flare

My day Upon White Cloud

I skip along the winding lanes, my fingertips, stroke leaves

I place my face in upward stance, to feel, the Summer breeze

My curls are floating, shoulders so, my feet, as light can be

I’m in a place of perfect, my wings are flying free

I’m soaring through the skies of Blue, I settle, on the White

My seat all fluffy, candy floss, high and out of sight

Other clouds, join me so, My Angels, now with me

All of us, together now, wait patient, God we’ll see

God does appear, on his White, a cloud, in shape of throne

We bow our heads, to greet him, each our Hearts, hello

We sit and chat for hours, great knowledge, I’ve been told

My cloud, it starts descending, my knowledge, Heart will hold

As my feet, touch the ground, oh, what a day It’s been

On the clouds, within the sky, my Angels, God with me

I’ll write the knowledge, I’ve been told, place in words, for all

As a child small, this thought it stays with me

I would have been, 7 years old, sat in Summer breeze

In a basket woven, no food, my eyes do see

Under tree, a book retrieved, my biros, I count Three

My back of hand, move my curls, concentrate on face

My back pressed now, against the trunk, I write away, not trace

I’m feeling so excited, I love my words with me

I’m filling up, my book of new, stay here, come and see

Hours pass, I’m on my own, happy and content

I have my all, my everything, my words, my Father sent

He gave me gift of sharing, to send others, so his light

Many more, my words want say, I cannot make them stop

Balloons fly sky, high, through the air, never will they drop

My feet have touched the warm sands, my eyes have joined the view

My feet have touched, the highest peak, a road with many twists

A wall surrounds for miles, a telescope, my euro, hits

Looking over areas vast, a mix of colours seen

Blues, Yellows, mix of Greens, my eyes today, they’ve been

I turn around, my eyes look up, I came to see him stand

Jesus Christ, stone he’s built, watching over land

I take my camera, click away, a sign of cross i place

A tear of love, it leaves my eye, as I stand, admire his face

More to see, more blessing, a church of quaint, invite

In I go with family, surround we are by light

Lighting candles, for loved ones gone, by our side they stay

The rain outside is pouring, I’m snug within my bed

My pillow propped behind me, securing now my head

In a garden, not recognise, my head, it takes a bow

To my right, another, a laugh from me, is heard

In front of me, behind me, quick, many more, I see

Pretty faces, all so sweet, closer, they join me

Into your splendid garden, hidden, between the trees

Many hours, passed so by, what a perfect night

Who would have thought, my words tonight, brought fairies, pure delight

Happy Birthday Son

Twenty Nine years ago, God gave a gift to me

In my arms, perfection, my Son, lay peacefully

I couldn’t take my eyes off, such beauty laying there

His face, tinged pink, long lashes, Brown on head, his hair

I took his little fingers, wrapped them so in mine

I stroked his face so gently, wrapped in cloth, so fine

I hugged him oh so softly, cradled, side to side

Inside my Heart, was flowing, my love, around him bind

Today, we’ve spent together, shared memories, shared a laugh

Our life so far together, perfect, ever last

I watched him, blow out his candles, Birthday song, be sang

Twenty Nine, today he is, One wish, I place around

My Son, I pray, your always safe, protected by God’s light

When eyes open, morning breaks, when light dims, each night

I know your Guardian Angel, guides your life each day

My View Of Life Different

When a child of small, many dreams, many hopes, many smiles

My eyes, Two, precious, taking in the view of our world

Taking in the magic, spotting everything, nothing missed

I was like a sponge, soaking, absorbing, feeding my soul

When I was a teenager, many dream, many hopes, many smiles

My eyes, seeing the world slightly different, questioning

Understanding, life is full of decisions, a path, becoming

My mind, opening, looking, searching, adventure

When my teens ended, dreams faded, still hope, responsibility

Time moving faster, busyness, routine, challenges, trials

Walking a path, resembling a caterpillars movement, ups and downs

Smiles, tears, fear, pain, emotions, lost, confused, still Hope, be found

When I hit Midlife, many dreams, many hopes, many smiles

Not giving up, experience, Wisdom, understanding, knowledge

Stillness, time, overcoming challenges, confident in life

My eyes, seeing the world differently, accepting my inner child

Family Love

Today, spent with my family, very blessed I am

To have them all with me, cuddle, walk, hold hands

Have a little natter, catch up, on lives, we live

Sipping on our hot drinks, buttered scone and cream

We talk about, the past we’ve shared, the future, waiting so

We talk about our children, our work, each day we go

We sit and listen quietly, take in, each other’s smiles

Today it has been perfect, laughter heard for miles

Family are important, they love you, as you are

They’ll carry you through water, let your wings, fly far

They will dry your tears, upon on your cheeks, help take away the pain

The bond between you and them, you’re Heart, much love it gains

My Life As Taught Me So Much

I’ve learnt so much in this life, much Wisdom, I have learnt

Life to me, when I look back, much Strength, I have been taught

Trust I’ve found, in Faith each day, Hope,  I’ve also found

Believing what I share with all, is that love, is all around

Yes, the Dark, I do believe, as I’ve visited it, many times

Sat within a pool of tears, owning them, as mine

Giving up, no option, as I’ve also seen the light

One of pure perfection, I’ll walk my path, in sight

So you see, I write each day, with light and love be shared

Telling you, I am so brave, but times, I’ve felt so scared

I’ve faced a many crossroads, not knowing where to go

Then I see a glimmer of light, my life ahead, on show

I hope my words, do stay with you, I hope you’ve seen your light 

It’s always there, for you to see, in darkness, shining bright

My words explain, life not perfect, but a blessing to us all

If you ever fall to ground, get up, keep standing tall

You’re Spiritual self inside

My spiritual self always with me, my energy flies high

If you should ever meet me, you’ll spot light, within my eyes

Radiate, I always do, draw others, close to me

Stay here for a little while, my light from Heart, you’ll see

Slender so, I walk this Earth, appreciate all on show

Nothing so for granted, each glance, my Heart, does glow

Love from me, pours from my Heart, a blanket, for our world

Prayers and healing also sent, soak up the tears of woe

In my form of Human self, yes, I still feel pain

Not just mine, but all who walk, no shoes, within the rain

Challenges come, so to me, make me weary so

I take a breath, stop for a while, my spiritual self I know

Life it is not easy, life is up and down

Sometimes there is sunshine, sometimes, dark around

We all so have our light inside, to send the dark away

Just stop in life, take a breath, your spiritual self, says hey

If Time Was My Own

My childhood felt magical, everywhere I’d walk

The sunlight, through my curtains, the Angels, I’d hear talk

The oceans, sat upon the sand, brilliant Blue, I’d see

Even wind, so gentle, the sound, off humming bee

My eyes, so sharp, missed nothing, soaking, all things in

The fairies, within my garden, the feathers, brought, by wind

The trees that paved, our Grey slabbed streets, the lanterns, giving light

Everyday, much to explore, my childhood, so bright

I felt each day, a blessing, new things, finding out

Nothing missed, my eyes aware, the world, was shouting out

Skip I’d do, so happy, I would dance, to song, from lark

Swinging high, go down the slide, found, within my park

Oh what fun, those days were great, time passing, oh so slow

Nothing so was hurried, my life back then, so glow

Oh I wish, my time was mine, to join that time again

A child, carefree, full of life, jump puddles, from the rain

Go Outside Explore

I spot Bluebells in the fields, array of colours, spread

Beyond the Blues, Yellows, Pinks, Roses, colours Red

I spot Daisies in the meadow, Lily pads, floating down the stream

My eyes today, wide open, none of this a dream

I see sun rays, glazed over, perfect leaves, changing colour so

I feel the warmth, upon my head, settle, gently on my nose

I capture raindrops, which fall tiny, into Two hands, stay

I lay within the fallen snow, create Angel, as I lay

Oh, this world is so beautiful, sometimes, hidden out of view

Not by darkness, laden there, but busyness, comes through

Steam train, our lives, so can be, never do we stop

Outside this world awaits for us, so much, it is forgot

Today, take a break, go on, you do deserve, go outside, explore

Run within  the Bluebells, Red Rose, behind ear, it sports

Place the Daisies, around your neck, soak in all the sun

Jump upon a Lily pad, float down stream, have fun

Words

Sometimes, just once, you meet, you hear, the words you need

It can be by coincidence, or placed upon your path

Those words, are an answer to a prayer, to heal a open wound, to stop tears

Bring a smile upon your face, or just to let you know, all will be okay

Words are so powerful, can be so subtle, can feel like a feather, brushing your face

They can be spoken, written, placed within a song, or shared by a stranger

Words can bring memories, wish miracles, to say I love you

Words are a beautiful gift, should be honoured, treasured

I would like to share a few words today, where do I start

Believe, have Hope, find Strength, maintain Courage

You will be okay, have Faith, Trust, Wisdom is within

Don’t give up, keep climbing, One small step brings change

Just Four lines up above, with words I’ve shared

Read with passion, a smile, with Hope

Trust in your words, too yourself, your inner self is speaking

Keep on listening, keep asking and you shall receive

Why do I write each day, who are my words, so for

Who will place them, in their Hearts, waiting, to see more

I have so much, to share each day, my words, keep coming through

Ones, that describe, the Yellow sun, rays fall, on waters Blue

Are my words, meant for my family, or friends, who share my lunch

The ones, alone upon the streets, the groups, within a bunch

Do they stay with ones, who write like me, community we are

Do they settle with the Elders, who read at night, lit, by perfect star.

My words are meant for everyone, existing in world so

No one is missed, my work is free, Poetry, they know

Not just for now, but when I’m gone, my words will always stay

For future generations, my words to their Hearts, they lay

You’re Spot upon The Hill

I’m having a little break outside, I’m leaving now, I’m off

If you want to join me, you’re Two hands, I’ve now got

Make sure, that your warm, as the air, a little chill

Put on so your Wellies, to help you climb, Green Hill

Off we go, down dirt track, watch out, the puddles, splashing me

Over fields, enormous, our hill in front, we see

Wait for me, I shout out loud, as I run behind you, so

You’ll reach the top, before me, see sight, you’d never know

At the top, we’re laughing, a little, out of breath

A break I thought, this is hard work, a shortcut, we should’ve take

We sit together, on a log, which fallen, to the ground

Everything so peaceful, know one else around

We both sit still in silence, capturing the view

I wonder what view, you have took, we both, have something new

We’ll stay a little longer, so you can, see it all

I’ll then return, to my blank page, write story, telling more

I hope you’ve enjoyed, your time on hill, keep it in your mind

If ever, you so need a break, your Green Hill, you go find

You can climb it, when the air is chill, or when the sun, is hot

You have a place of sanctuary, it is your perfect spot

First Touch From My Angel

I’m sitting here just thinking, inspiration, I so need

I’m waiting for my words appear, in mind, a planted seed

I’ll have a light refreshment, sip water, give me life

I’ll wait a little longer, my words will come to mind

I’m sitting, by my window, just taking in the view

Waiting for my visions, to share, with all of you

I’ll nibble on a little snack, now fuel, within my soul

I’m being very patient, my words, will come along

My seed, it starts a growing, tingling, in my crown

I see a vision, of plant sprouting, Green leaves, are forming now

I feel inspiration growing, my story, I will start

Write about, the day, I felt, first Angel, touch my Heart

I came into this world, let out a cry, my tiny lids, still shut

Wrapped within a blanket, in my Mother’s arms, now put

My tiny lips, now shivering, a gentle touch, I felt

An Angel, placed their hand on Heart, warm inside, Heart melt

I’m grateful still, to this day, I’ll never forget, their warmth 

If inside, I do feel cold, My Angels, touch my Heart

I know they’ll always be with me, I feel it straight away

Their gentle touch, placed centre, on first day, their warmth lay

Life Of Many

Life, how can this be described, understood, puzzling

Many questions, answers seek, a longing, belonging

So many why’s, many if’s many, where do I go

Solid walls, no signposts, confusion, only show

Life, how can this be lived, human form, it’s hard

No book to follow, just guessing, just road, asking for more

So many twists and turns, so many, ups and downs

So many times, feel helpless, like, no one is around

Life, what can we learn, so many things, to gain

Many lessons, along our paths, obstacles, say hey

So many things, to help us grow, mature, into ourself

As we grow older, not feel alone, like, left upon a shelf

Life, all things, of above, our journey is the same

No path ahead is clear, spot sunshine, through the rain

Our walking boots, so big and strong, continue on our way

One day, when we join Heaven, our life, be shown, have say

Ones, when you are travelling, or tucked up warm in bed

They’re truly understandable, a word for everyone

Written as a poem, or developed as a song

My words are one of life itself, they join us all as one

Read within the sunshine, or when, the sunlights gone

They can be placed within a leather book, or canvas, words can lay

Anywhere, they wish to be, my voice, my words, have say

My words are set, within different themes, places, world, they share

Read within a Golden field, when raindrops fall, soak hair

Words appear everyday, keep readers, mesmerised

My words explain, to all of you, my world, captured, by my eyes

If You Feel Lonely

For all those that feel alone today, loved ones, surrounding so

Inside, a void, a blankness, a pain, round Heart, it grows

Alone inside, feel empty, no arms, are soothing, now

Loneliness, it is so cruel, much happiness, too have

Hearing laughter, watch others fun, no sign, of smile, be seen

Where has all the life, so gone, that used, to live in me

Standing, observing, looking for clues, where have I, so gone

I’m in a body, made of skin, but feelings, I have none

I feel, I touch, use senses, but nothings, coming back

Why do I have everything, but myself, I so, do lack

Where’s my light, my spirit, my soul, my everything

Loneliness, can take so much, tears, it so brings

I ask, whenever, you feel this way, remember, these, true words

Your Angel, is always by your side, your loneliness, pain, hurt

They take away your tears, they walk, same steps, with you

By your side, each night, you sleep, they pray, their voice, you heard
