I Hope Our Peace Lasts Poem

I look around the world today, this is what I see
I see a world of beauty, flowers sitting pretty
I see great trees arranged so neat, edged upon our streets
I see great waters there of blue, sands of golden meet

I see our animals roaming free, green grass they do munch
I see great mountains, laced with snow, snow leopards eating lunch
I see valleys there unspoilt, ground no feet have tread
I see sunlight shining through the clouds, warmth is sent my way

I see all these views within my sight, but also in my mind
I see a world of perfect so, Gods land is what I find
I see a view of what should be, every single day
But before I see some cracks appear, not light, but dark of day

My eyes now see the plastics, that kills life that does swim
I see countries destroyed by war and pain, a cycle with no win
I see darkened spots, where light should be, but the pain it does shut out
Our world is made of two views, one day, I pray our peace will last

Communities Brought Together Poem

As a child small, this memory comes to me
I remember having street parties, communities gathering in
Bunting tied around lampposts, garden gates sport too
Tables laid with lovely treats, cakes home baked, squash too

Music playing in background, children hopscotch play
The sound of conkers breaking, who as won today
The adults carrying trifles, with picked strawberries placed on top
Everyone together, the fun it never stops

Giggles sounding everywhere, the adults having chats
Marbles being thrown on ground, to win some new ones back
Lemonade from lemons picked, dry up the beads of sweat
Oh what fun our childhood was, technology not in way

Every family did join so, to bring us all as one
No one left unheard of, no one left alone
Everyone shared smiles, everyone shared waves
Our parties on the streets of pave, my childhood It gave

An Angel Sent From Gods Two Gates Poem

I lay within my hammock, swinging side to side
I’m hanging from two tree trunks, they make my perfect glide
I’m laying before the night sky, the air a little moist
Up above the stars are there, lighting up the view

My cosy throw does cover me, my feet are covered too
I’m rocking very gently now, my stars know what to do
They open up the canvas black, the sky is what I mean
Before the stars start changing shape, a perfect view for me

My eyes now watch, in all creates, the stars they start to merge
Before I see a silhouette, standing before me
The stars create a perfect dress, diamantés decorate
My stars create an Angel, sent from Gods two gates

My Precious Firewood Poem

The night air now is chillier, my nose, the droplets lay
Each breath brings an echo, Snow White the air breath stays
I stand embroiled in duffel, the hood, the fur does drape
My scarf of multicolours, placed around my neck

Off the wooden decking, my feet now crunch the ground
The leaves and twigs do crackle, the owl, hear hoots around
The light upon verander, does light the path for me
Out I go and wander, my steps, between the trees

Down I bend, to pick up logs, the ones, cut hours before
My arm now is a carrier, to build a fire, galore
I see before two headlights, two which are shaped round
There before a bunny Grey, on ground, it scouts around

We stop each step, our eyes do glare, our breathes, they sync as one
I take in perfect nature, our worlds becoming One
We both need what the ground provides, each brings to us our fuel
I’m grateful for the gift in arms, my precious firewood

My mind full of adventures, my mind so full of dreams
My mind is free to roam about, like birds, their wings believe
My mind it travels to many places, over mountain tops it’s soars
My mind swims on the seabed’s, unearthing what’s on floor

My mind sits on the rainbows edge, with colours there galore
My mind it swims through caverns blue, a lagoon I have in store
My mind it travels universe, to answer questions well
My mind it goes where it likes, my mind I know it well

My mind it captures memories, it saves them to recall
My mind it is a creative one, it helps my stories tall

My Heart Invited My Angels Poem

I lay upon my comfy bed, my mattress soft as be
Over me a feathered quilt, truly embracing me
My pillow supports my long blonde hair, tousles lay out flat
Looking up towards the sky, a white sheet I see now

Slowly now I see a ping, another one does pop
Others show at the right time, floating high above
Many pops and pings appear, my white sheet nearly full
With colours shaped as little balls, fascinating me

The colours then swirl around, like dancing in the night
Some go fast, some go slow, but each they know their time
I lay there still, not blink of eye, in case I miss this so
Transformation has begun, my Angels there on show

I lay there still, mesmerised, my white sheet now become
Above me now, the dancing stopped, are Angels they have come
I wonder how this could appear, why have my eyes seen this
The answer is, my mind was still, my heart invited in

The air a little chillier, the darkness as now fell
I sit within my rocking chair, my blanket warms me well
Rocking very slightly, the decking creaks with ease
Silence does surround the air, no wind, not even breeze

Rocking does continue, my mind it is so still
My breathing as now slowed, I’m feeling now at peace
My blanket I do pull much in, I even rock from side to side
Smile is placed upon my face, so grateful for my life

This is my favourite time of day, when all my work is done
Nothing now to distract me, no one to shout out hun
I can sit for hours to come, the stars my only friend
But I wouldn’t change a single thing, to have this peace each day

Trying To Figure Life Poem

For years I walked in wonder, trying to figure life
I always felt a little different, never knowing why
I saw myself as quirky, with my little dimpled cheeks
My imagination roaming,  I see this gift to me

I would ask the same on Birthdays, Christmas, was the same
When asked of all my presents, same answer, would remain
I would like a pen, with Golden nib, a book, with pages lined
So I could spend my hours, writing, what is so called life

My comfy bed, my best friend, my tummy, hours lay
Just writing words that came to mind, one day, send them your way
I never knew the reason then, why,  I enjoyed to write so much
Looking back, I know this now, God’s trust is what I took

Today, I’m not much different, cheek bones, replace my dips
I still request, the same present, my wish, falls from my lips
Still, my bed I lay upon, the hours, they do pass fast

My dream last night felt different, a film I played a part
I watched as lips were moving, no face seen from the start
I could only hear words spoken, a silhouette there hangs
No face gave me the answers, I had to work it out

It wasn’t like a nightmare, as inside I did feel warm
I wasn’t scared, to wake myself, words mesmerising cool
Exchange all night was happening, sometimes I’d nod my head
It was like watching view in classroom, silhouette represents the head

My Walk Within The Muds Poem

I take a little walk today, to clear my weary mind
As I pull on my hunters boots, my troubles I do find
Around my neck I drape a scarf, knitted by my Nan
Out I go and leave it all, my troubles I’ll clear now

The ground a little splodgy, made from rain the night before
Sinking into ground each step, brings comfort to me more
Every step, the depths I reach, takes work to pull feet out
Gives me strength to shred my fears, Gods home is where stay now

My breath it does get heavier, each step takes all from me
Relax is what I feel inside, wet ground brings this to me
I could have walked a path of dry, but the strength I would not need
So the muds of splodge I welcome now, as they help me to release

I think about my earlier years, myself, now not recognise
Before I couldn’t see light around, no spark within my eyes
My lips they always stayed one way, straight is how they laid
But now I see a perfect curve, as I smile every day

Before my reflection did look grey, my shoulders they were hunched
My hair hung limp, no shine at all, pale face, sadness within
But now myself sees vibrancy, also present in my steps
Today I see another one, where faith as saved the day

Today my reflection is standing tall, proud of who I am

I feel today so truly blessed, my heart I feel the beats
The wind I feel upon my face, a view my eyes do meet
My legs are able to make those steps, my arms can give a hug

My Angels In The Lanes Poem

When my eyes do open, my room, I look around
I spot a light a shining, through the drapes, it flows around
I see the light, resembling lanes, like motorways, that built
Instead of cars, I see there balls, colours, shown to me

Colours Blue, colours Red, Yellows in between
Oranges, also flowing, like stripes of Bumblebees
Greens, are also moving, each colour, now in sync
Before I see a pathway, my Angels there with me

I watch them, as they all line up, like standstill, on the lanes
I see their colours, glow for me, like traffic lights, the same

As a child with feet so small, my steps were tiny so
At this time I walked so far, as fear I did not know
I never faced an obstacle, that stopped me in my tracks
I felt alive and carefree, my wings upon my back

My life back then, each day felt fun, adventures I did have

My dreams felt always perfect, like already in my life

I started on my journey, a walk into unknown
A journey which as took great strength, courage had to show
I started out in darkness, my eyes they both were lost
Unknown where I was travelling too, a crossroads I did cross

I couldn’t turn myself to left, not even right you see
Staying still was terrifying, fear below in me
Backwards I could not go there, my past already gone
So forwards now I had to walk, in front the place to go

On I walked, inside felt scared, but I met on way new friends
Not ones where my eyes saw them, but warmth inside did reign
My Angels they took great care of me, they even held my hand
They took me into lands unknown, to see what dark not found

The place I now walk everyday, my eyes are clear so

Inside I feel a churning, not one that’s caused by fear

If we can now imagine, a rope shared throughout our world
Each our hand, does hold onto, directs us through our lands
Each of us are numbers, great strength in all we hold
So why are we so separated, our stories never told

If our rope of line so straight, now started to show kink
What would this now mean to all, would it mean we are sinking
If the kink got bigger, pulling now it does
It shows one thing is happening, our kink, brings closer us

If the rope then tied in bow, secured a knot on top
What would be the meaning, the answer I may got

I spent a day in nature, my worries I work through

I walk upon the hillsides, my boots the gravel meet

I spot a bench it’s not too far, a few more steps will do
I sit and rest, a cup of brew, my throat it welcomes through

I sit upon a winters eve, my armchair feeling snug
Fluffy slippers drape my feet, my dressing gown, tied bow
A mug of chocolate, cream laced top, marshmallows floating small

My mind now floating full of thoughts, those living now outside
A shop door, or a wooden bench, or laying on the floor

Have you ever felt a little hurt, a remark someone as sent

My eyes have opened from my sleep, focus I now do
My arms now stretch above my head, positioned for the true
Up in air I spread arms wide, my wings have opened up
Laying on my Cotton sheet, I’m preparing now to fly

Up so softly, body rise, I turn onto my front
I spot a window, sporting breeze, through,my wings now hunt
Out I go, soaring high, I’m taking landscape in

Over roof tops I do soar, miles of green I meet
Staring at the treetops, a woodland I now see

My ears now amplified so much, people I hear speak

I’ve gone about my day today, my eyes attract those need
The people who are vulnerable, magnet unto me
I sit and listen to words shared, each story, searching hope
My answer that does pass my lips, before a light, now slope

I’ve given to them guidance, a little helping hand
To take a step to find themselves, their eyes now scan around
I know what they are following, their eyes the light does meet
Before I see a brilliant white, a glow surrounding thee
