I asked a question just today, to my God above
I asked him will all be okay, this is what he spoke
Don’t worry child, all is well, now stop the worry feel
Everything will work out fine, my words of hope are real

God as sent me many signs, to say all will be okay
So I’ve let my worries pass, God’s words I trust, he says
In my heart I feel now peace, I trust in words he shares
To you all, I also pass, that all will be okay

My faith in God, his gentle words, always do comfort me
He never judges what I say, I never feel silly
I sit and share all everything, a feather my heart now feels
I trust that all will be okay, God’s spoken words are real

Our lives are not straight forward, we all have challenges same

Yes, each one is different, unique to each find way

If our lives were simple, not a worry within ourselves 

How would we move forward, to figure our lives out

Challenges are never easy, they bring a lot of tears

Some do pass in short time, some stay around for years

Our challenges do help us grow, direct us to our path

When tears flow, we call on one, God we trust him now

Take a look, count on your fingers, how many you have faced

How many did you conquer, strength remained, still today

I like you will have many more, it’s how we take them on

Ones before now bring you hope, your challenge will be gone

I write great words of wisdom, strength is also there
Courage carries your steps far, faith brings you God’s care
I write about experience, I’ve had throughout my life
I bring you words of encouragement, so you can see your light

I’ve shared with you my struggles, my tears which have flowed
I’ve shared with you adventures, my child of small does show
I’ve shared with you my times in dark, held your hand into the light
I’ve sat with you on mountaintops, we’ve shared the stars at night

I include you daily in my prayers, healing I have sent
I’ve given to you learning tools, to use now in the present
I’ve introduced the Angels, who share my life each day

Each time I’m faced with a brick wall, a mountain I must climb
I don’t know how I will do this, I’m shaking, quivering inside
I’m feeling on brow sweaty, very overwhelmed
I know I’m here not lonely, God, he has my hand

I know now face a trial, a new one, different from before
It doesn’t make it easier, I’ve conquered ones, much more
I have to keep my faith in me, believe in my own steps
Holding onto Gods Two hands, I know I’ll pass this test

Strength in me, courage so, trust helps my steps walk
Every time I feel so scared, God's voice I hear, hello
I carry on, not giving up, I’ve walked so many now

My Butterfly Chose Me Poem

I hear a little flutter, Two tiny wings I see
A beauty of all colours, comes to sit with me
On my hand it settles, no movement now it makes
My Butterfly of colours, silence, I take break

I sit within the sunshine, it’s rays hit gently so
Settling on my freckles, browning end of nose
I’m sitting in perfection, my breathing now as slowed
I’m looking at my Butterfly, today it’s me it chose

My Butterfly as brought to me, no distraction in my sight
Instead I am surrounded, sat within God’s light
I’ll stay like this for hours, afraid if I do move
My Butterfly will leave me, again my mind filled noise

We spend the day together, my Butterfly and me
I never want this feeling end, my soul is so happy
I notice how the dusk surrounds, appearing now a chill
Instead of moving,I drape round, a blanket with a frill

Suddenly I hear a flutter, I know this time will end
Off now flies my Butterfly, I’m missing my best friend
Instead of feeling lonely, instead of feeling sad
I’m glad I had my day with, my Butterfly who passed

Lighting up the walkways, arches that are grand
Following the lights of bright, I join God’s promised land
In front I see a sight of pure, God’s Two hands do wait for me

I feel inside your shaking, don’t worry, you’re with friends
I see your eyes a roaming, taking all view in
Your eyes are one amazement, I feel your peace within

I’m sitting in the air of chill, shawl round shoulders drape
Looking into darkened skies, the little lights do stay
Twinkling in their movements, my eyes are mesmerised
Watching how the blackened skies, come alive with lights

No noise around, all is still, I’m feeling in comfort
Up my legs now curl behind, cushion, resting head
I cannot take my eyes away, looking at the stars

This week, no work, I feel alive, enjoyed so very much
Laying in my bed, no alarm, time to now adjust
Walks through woodlands, catch up family, time I’ve spent in prayer
Not watching time, life passing by, peaceful and still there

Eating slowly, coffee not rushed, no computer screen I see
No phone so ringing round the clock, in stillness I have been
The sunshine shining down on me, sitting on my grass
Picnic eaten on checked blanket, so happy, I do laugh

I’ve been able to meditate, chat all day with God
Watching so my Angels, with them I’ve spoken a lot
I know this feeling soon will change, as busy I will be
Working from when my eyes wake up, exhausted five fifteen

I used to question life, look for answers so
Now I leave all in God’s hands, he already knows
I know that he will lead me, where my life should be
So worry I should now not do, God will carry me

When some days get challenging, I know it’s me control
I’m trying to steer my own life, but God to me says no

Wind so lift me up, let me float in total peace
Raise me above the everything, silence noise to bliss
Let me float just like a feather, lay gently upon a cloud
Nothing to distract me, no noise I do hear loud

Fluffy as a sheep’s wool coat, so I can reflect in light
