My Angels Brought Me Stillness Poem

I asked my Angels please help me, then I felt their warmth
I asked them keep me safe and well, my precious family more
Then I felt a flutter, looking on my hand
Before a butterfly of bright, gently it does land

Admiring so, it’s colours Red, Blue and Spots of Black
I gently move, it lifts now high, but settles back on lap
It doesn’t want to leave me, it’s settled where it lays
Not moving, I’m in stillness, my butterfly for day

We’ve both sat still and quiet, both to we have a rest
Sitting still for hours, my thoughts I have the best
Looking from higher perspective, many answers found
Found within the stillness, my Butterfly around

This story I do share with you, happened in my life
I called the Angels for a sign, next I rubbed eyes wide
Driving past, stopping by, a lorry sporting words
The answer to my question, a sign I write for you

This sign may not mean a thing, let me now explain

Looking at the message, one word shone bright for me

Out I’ve been a walking, soaking up the sun

Through The Darkness I Found You Poem

I woke up, many years ago, the night my tears fell
Crumpled on a heap on floor, I knew the darkness well
My sobbing could be heard for miles, tears wet the floor
Then I felt a presence, float right through my door

I felt Two arms around me, strong in strength they felt
Inside I felt much calmer, on this night heart melt
God gave me reassurance, he wiped my tears dry
Then I met what saved me, I found my own true light

I started noticing signs for me, everywhere I went
Nothing so did miss my eyes, alert, of what God sent
Messages so loud and clear, waiting to be found
I trusted in what God sent me, I love you I cried loud

I’m so glad I found my light, first I had to fall
If the darkness not with me, how could I meet floor
Tears would not soak my face, Surrender so I do

I stand in front of mirror, I’m dressed now all in White
I watch my own reflection, my Aura full of light
I notice how my skin glows, my hair is tousled, fall
I’m small in height, now standing straight, shows me now as tall

No shoes are there upon my feet, embracing so the ground
I am alone, not feeling this, I feel my Angels round
I know they’re admiring me as I am, they know that I am proud

Our lives are replica of a book, I’ll share why this is so
Starting at beginning, in chapter One we show
With our cry from first breath, our journey does begin
Filling up the pages blank, exploring everything

Chapter Two, we’re growing still, our minds now storing so
Everything we’ve learnt so far, still have long way to go
Our chapter, turning now to Three, exciting is our life
Taking on the big wide world, our eyes are open wide

Chapter Four is calling, what will this stage now bring

Chapter Five is on its way, midlife we do meet

Chapter Five a crossroads, thinking back what learnt

I've Conquered My Wall Poem

I climb over the haystacks, run across the bridge
Faster up a ladder, rolling down a hill
Reaching top of mountain, climb so up a tree
Then I reach a stumbling block, stay with me and see

I’ve reached something, no running through, never breaking down
I’m faced before a structure, built solid on the ground
I use my hands, trail, find a gap, no where be seen
I have no other choice in life, my steps, not one but three

Up I go, holding tight, in case I fall below
Forehead feeling now so moist, knees are trembling so
Nearly there, few climbs are left, then I’ll reach the top
Finally I’ve made it, I’m sitting on the lot

My Day Beside The Waterfall Poem

Pulling on my boots of Brown, my satchel upon my back
Out I go to meet the air, to meet now with dirt track
Onwards walk, no end be seen, on and on I stride
Up ahead a tractor, I jump on, hitch a ride

Miles are covered, as I ride along, soon I will jump off
Not getting to a place I know, I settle, over bumps
Nearly there, my eyes do see, my favourite spot of all
It’s getting closer, stay with me, meet me, at waterfall

Tractor stops, off I jump, I continue, steps on way
I settle now upon the ground, my waterfall, I stay
Out I take my little book, my pencil in my hand
Scribbling so, my words appear, a picture too of land

Waters fall Blue, then crisp of White, as they hit the ground
The sunlight hitting end of waves, it’s stillness, hear no sound
I see before a miracle, the rough, becoming smooth
Waterfall shows how life rolls, same for me and you

On again my tractor jump, I’ll journey home, I’ll tell
Jumping now upon my bed, my tummy, laying flat

We need to share words to educate, on the value of a life
One second changes everything, from a flick of knife
A trigger pulled, a slump to floor, a life again is lost
A crowd of family, say goodbye, gone is their precious love

An empty bed, replaces smiles, memories now only there
An empty place within a chair, no dinner plate laid there
No chance to watch a loved one grow, taken from this world
A thought, so made, in one second, life value now not shown

Instead of pain, instead of hurt, instead of death be caused
This world could be a place of peace, where violence showing nought

I Followed My Heart Poem

I take a little stroll today, I wonder where I’ll go
I’ll let my feet just take me, follow my heart so
In and out of streets so quaint, my pace not slowing down
I feel a pull upon my heart, my eyes now glance around

In I go, the bell does ring, in front are books, much more
Placed neat in the middle, a wooden table, chair

Life is like a line of curve, up then sometimes down

Today the weathers little Grey, spots of rain do fall
My view now from my window, stay here I’ll tell you more
My Willow tree, grand stature, blows gently with the breeze
The Grass on tips have raindrops, pretty to eyes see

A little bird, wings are closed, resting on a branch
Every time the rain hits head, it’s eyes they do look blank
I watch and wonder when fly off, into the skies of rain
Or will it stay so settled, until sun does shine again

Changing seats, my view now change, I spot a wing of two
Laying flat against my fence, Butterfly, colours Blue
It doesn’t seem fazed, by droplets, it stays as still can be

Anxiety is Real Poem

I have had many struggles, many trials in life
I’ve suffered with anxiety, felt helpless in my fight
I’ve sat within the darkness, no light I’ve seen around
What I had throughout this all, is strength to help me out

I’ve had my tears, rivers create, once started, would not stop
I’ve felt my heart, suffocated, ball and chain, click, clunk
I’ve carried boulder on my back, at times my steps have stopped
What I had throughout this all, the courage to fight, reach top

I’ve felt like screaming, times no noise, sometimes I not exist
I’ve met with crossroads, so confused, anxiety not bliss
I’ve felt at times my legs of weak, I’ve crumble to the floor
What I’ve had throughout this all, is hope to walk some more

So you see, my life real, at times been very hard

My Words Are Shouting Out Poem

I’m sitting here a thinking, my mind is filled with words
Each one is calling out, please use me, help save world
I’m trying to give words order, ask them wait their turn
But each one is jumping out, I’ll pick out ones to use

Hope I pick, so courage, let me now grab strength
Light is shining brightly, darkness shows its face
Hurdles, bridges, rainbows too, even oceans Blue
Sands of Golden colours, Mountain tops shout too

Flowers names of many kinds, waiting pick for you
Animals are lining up, insects so come through
I take the one that stands above, God I choose his name
I also take his son of one, the Angels who are friends

I start my stories, poem form, I bring to you all things
Intention is to bring you good, hope you’ll have within
Courage, strength, I give to you, to keep the dark at bay
I give you light in words each day, from words I send your way

My Book Upon The Shelf Poem

As a child of small, my head so full with dreams
Daydreaming, whilst look into sky, lazy summer breeze
Feeling happy, so content, I’d skip my way back home
Humming sweet tune sung to me, my Angel in classroom

Excited after finished tea, I run away up stairs
My head within another book, the hours pass away
My mind so lost, no one heard, captivated so
Not hearing when my Mother shouts, it’s bedtime, you do know

Chucking on my dressing gown, warm cocoa in my hand
Slurping the last bit of it, my plaits fall to the ground
Getting cosy in my bed, my eyelids start to close
In my dreams, my fun does start, my dreams again I chose

I dream I am a writing, a book of words myself
One which will be read by all, displayed of Red on shelf
Yes I’ll hear excitement, yes I’ll hear a laugh
One day my words will belong to all, just pick it off the shelf

My Walk Within The Raindrops Poem

Waking up today, the rain is spotting slow
Touching all the things it meets, high now meeting low
Glazing over view I see, pretty as can be
The rain today brought colour, rainbow drops I see

Pulling on my woolly jumper, the air a little chill
Jeans do complement my boots, my stripy socks with frill
Wax jacket completes my look, out the door I go
Ready for my morning walk, destination I don’t know

Out my gate, I follow path, on and on I go
Hurry not, I take my time, I walk a pace of slow
Eyes are taking all so in, my breath it feels crisp
Bending now, I pick a flower, blow petals, from my kiss

Meeting me on my walk, a hedgehog same my pace
I stop beside, I watch it move, I spot it’s tiny face
It turns to me, to say hello, then it carries on
I follow where my hedgehog walks, my footsteps I walk on

Here I am standing still, in a field of Green
My hedgehog carries on its walk, I stop, breathing so in
Pulling off my boots and socks, barefoot through the grass
I’m soaking up the rain droplets, Earths energy does pass

Our World Of Beauty Poem

Skies are Blue, never Grey, Sun is Yellow so
Leaves are Green, so Golden, collect the morning dew
Grasses Green, flowers many, colours of Rainbow
Waters with their Turquoise, eyes see clear through

Hillsides do excite me, miles of adore
With their colours, Green, Yellow, my heart the view does store
Mountaintops, with iced tops, that glisten in the light
Waterfalls, with perfect fall, crash gently, see in sight

Rainforests in all their glory, standing tall so grand
Within a place of nature, insects, animals, roam land
Centre of a vacuum, blowing out pure air
Our forests need to be treasured, protect our creatures there
