We Are One And All Poem

A seed of life, once we were, nurtured to grow on
Everything our lives have been, there to bring us one
Little pieces hanging on, ready to take shape
To fit the pieces roaming round, humanity create

Every stage of our lives, new knowledge has been found
Courage also came with this, strength, it comes in bounds
Little sprinklers up above, that light our very soul
Helping our true centre, our soul, we will now know

Every hurdle that we’ve faced, we’ve jumped not one, but few
Everything that’s caused us pain, we’ve always made it through
How I say, do we find our strength, our tears, do dry up fast
God is there beside us, helping our light last

Never should we give up, never we alone
God’s hands, encase our fingers, helping pain, let go
Continue in our footsteps, God’s light, it guides us so
He knows what life will bring us, how he helps us grow

Walking To Bring Stillness Poem

Looking out my window, a world of beauty pure
Everywhere inviting, calling out, see more
Landscapes lush, like carpets, ready to engage
Walking out, you walk upon, God’s garden, centre stage

Feet are bare, tantalise, the grasses tickle so
The air so fresh, aromas, inhale, filling nose
Eyes they see far and wide, memories pouring in
A caption of pure beauty, lighting so within

Breathing stilled, so silent, the mind it regenerates
Everything so perfect, walking through new gate
Over pathway, feet now glide, journey new you see
There within the distance, a weeping willow tree

Further on, the distance goes, I wonder what will show
Noises heard in distance, guiding where to go
As my feet walk closer, the noise I hear, I know
Waters passing slowly, of waters, slow in flow

Sitting down, beside the stream, my hands they place inside
Causing ripples, against my hand, causing change in tide
Just one tiny action, changes, life I view
One of perfect stillness, my walk, as helped me through

This week we have reached Sunday, today’s the day to rest
Time of true reflection, plan next week your best
Think of times of struggles, let your feelings go
Take it as your teaching, there to help you grow

Tommorrow will require new steps, never walked before
Something new to learn from, climb another wall
Breaths they will be taken, eyes will see new views
Stop in tracks for seconds, thank God for the new

New it comes in many forms, tests they may come through
See them as your blessing, God will help you through
Angels will be by your side, their wings will envelope
Anything that crosses path, God already knows

Look And You Will See Poem

Looking over hills of green, far and far they stretch
Dotted are the daisies, chains create, when fetched
On the slopes lay laden, little balls of fluff
Sheep upon the hillside, chomping grass of tuft

Looking over mountain tops, peaks so high, you miss
All been seen are icicles, where the snow begins
Footsteps there of climbers, ropes decorate it all
Flags produced, when reached the top, conquer, standing tall

Looking over oceans blue, shades of colours so
Like a sponge of layers, glistening, light a glow
Sucking in the sun rays, each one creates more warmth
The waters of our precious world, calling out for more

Looking into skies of blue, covered, clouds of white
Everything now forming, like they’ve come to life
Birds are flowing through the air, a balloon is flying high
Go on, now look much closer, another world nearby

My Book Of Dreams Poem

Crackling of the fire, the pitter patter rain
Warmth within a dim lit room, snug in my terrain
Fingers encased around a mug, the top,  a frothy white
Light enhances everything, everything now bright

Feet are tucked up, out the way, my book, I now reach so
Finger tip, licked gently, page, it now lets go
Words are read, imagination high, my mind it ventures so
The story captures how I feel, my heart now is a glow

Lost and lost for hours, my mind as ventured so
Running through the bluebells, climbing slopes of snow
Last slurp of my chocolate, no froth, now there in sight
My room still lit with bright light, I’m feeling warm inside

Glasses down, follow feet, I gently climb the stairs
Out comes my grips, my curls now fall, I clamber into bed
Pillows plumped, the duvet snug, my lids now heavy so
Now my dreams, do join my book, imagination glows

A Life To Adore Poem

Waking up, I rub my eyes, smile upon my face
Off the bed, my quilt does fling, hair is flowing red
Feet do spring, the floorboards creack, my bath I start to run
Sinking into heated tub, my head meets bottom tub

Up waters squirt, I giggle so, as waters leave my mouth
Creating fountain up above, falling all around
Towel now draped, my shoulders bare, my tousles, droplets floor
Out I leave, the plug hole out, water swirling more

Jumper on, rolled round my neck, leggings do complete
Chunky socks are cosy so, slippers do fit neat
Sliding down the wooden hall, giggles start again
Feeling lucky, to start day, alive, it comes to me

Sipping on my coffee, bite of toast I take
Sitting on my window chair, view of life is great
Skies of blue, the yellow sun, the grasses, which are green
Complete my morn of perfect, my life again begins

We Are The Same Breath Poem

As a human, who are we, where in world belong
Each of us unique as one, created, Angels song
Everyone a little piece, that slots in perfect so
We all have one thing, centred so, a heart of golden glow

Each of us a frame of bones, covered skin of bathe
Tinged with colour, which we own, language, voice it takes
Organs same, same breathes we take, dreams we all do have
Colours of the rainbow, show to you as well

Our senses find the perfect earth, each rain drop touches skin
Our view of life, remains in sync, cause we all fit in
All our paths do cross in life, miss though we do, do
We are all one, humanity, I’m the same, you are me too

So many questions, so many answers so

Pathways which are open, signposts showing go

Little rays of sunlight, each twinkle of the stars

Each wave which curls, within the sea, our dreams, swimming far

Each breath it brings another new, another chance again

Each cry of one born new to life, generation starts to reign

Each step we take, one so small, grow larger by the day

In our hearts we carry light, ease our tears away

Each blink of eyes, another view, our senses do arouse

Our brains, our memories, life itself, can be found around

Experience can be shared, knowledge is like Gold

Everything our lives do teach, stay when we grow old

Wiser, wiser, we become, every single day

Look at life through learning lens, lessons have their say

Hurdles there, blockades too, there for overcome

Take your life in your hands, blessings they do come
